Backstory

Takahiro Hanamaki never really talks about his little brother, he didn't know if we could even be coming back for high school like their father said.

Tatsumi and Takahiro's parents got divorced when Tatsumi was just starting middle school and their father decided he would be taking him to live in America till time for high school.

Tatsumi wasn't Tatsumi when they left, however, that changed in his second year of middle school.

He came out as transgender to his brother over video chat after he had changed his look.

Tatsumi always seemed happy when he video chatted with his brother, but he was hiding things from him.

He couldn't bring himself to admit to Takahiro that he was bullied in and out of school and that their father had changed since moving away from Japan.

However, Tatsumi was happy and excited to finally be back in Japan and away from his abusive father.

He couldn't wait to start high school with his brother and to finally meet all of Takahiro's friends, and make a few of his own.
