Backstory: Growing up, Chiyo used to be a delinquent who always got into fights and whom everyone was afraid of. During summer break, she went and visited her grandmother, making a new friend who was able to see Chiyo through her tough exterior. Soon after meeting her, Chiyo got mixed up with a gang of delinquents and ended up getting into a fight, not knowing that her friend had been there and gotten hurt, resulting in her needing to go to the hospital. After that, Chiyo couldn't forgive herself for what had happened and decided completely change herself, hiding away her rough delinquent self in exchange for a more innocent and girly persona.
