Name meaning: A kelpie is a shape-shifting aquatic spirit of Scottish legend. Its name may derive from the Scottish Gaelic words 'cailpeach' or 'colpach', meaning heifer or colt. Kelpies are said to haunt rivers and streams, usually in the shape of a horse.

Nicknames: Sunflower (his friends call him that because it suits him)

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Homoromantic asexual

Age: 5 or 6

Tribe: Seawing / Leafwing hybrid

Abilities: Can breath underwater, and absorb a small amount of sunlight. Because of his leafwing heritage he is a slightly worse swimmer than most seawings. He is very weak physically.

Rank/occupation: Dragonet, but he wants to be a florist or a healer.

Appearance: Kelpie is mainly a warm green with slightly darker wing membranes and webs. His eyes are warm hazel, with hints of amber along the edges. He is short and a little chubby, with a few dark green freckles on his snout. His horns, spikes and claws are warm brown. He looks like a normal seawing except for missing bioluminescent scales and the leaf-shaped thing at the end of this tail. Also the webs/spines on his back fade out like a leafwings. (See below)

Kelpie is almost always wearing some kind of flower crown, usually daisies and freshly made.

Personality: Kelpie is caring, soft-hearted and good-natured. He is very compassionate but not to the point he would risk himself for others. He is shy and quiet, and prefers peaceful places. He hates argument and shouting/loud noises and tries his best to stay out of them, hence his constant apologizing. He is quite optimistic, and likes to find the silver lining of every cloud. He trusts easily and believes the best in people, which often leads him into trouble. He is also very gullible and quite naive.
