Models (Species)

Description: Models are created when their parents "Shine", which means to combine the lights of their Essence Spheres, resulting in a third Sphere appearing in the space between them. Over a course of a week, the light from the baby Essence Sphere will form into a vaguely humanoid shape, eventually forming into a child of 4-5 years old. Twins are rare, and considered extremely powerful Models. For the most part, Models look like human beings. Almost exactly, actually. But there are a few ways to tell them apart from normal humans. Models typically obsess over bladed weapons, and can make a goop-face as a defense mechanism. All of their DNA is stored in their goop, so they have to stick a cotton swab in their goop eye to give a DNA sample. They usually wear striped shirts, and have a solid color scheme throughout their design. Each Model contains an Essence Sphere, colored in a similar way to their color scheme. It looks like a floating ball of swirling light, colored in their main color. The easiest way to describe it is the heart and soul of a Model.  If its light dims, then it's a huge reason for panic. The moment the light goes out, the Model disintegrates. You can tell the severity of any disease by how dim their Essence Sphere becomes, and how slow the lights are swirling. Their goop also becomes lighter in color if they become sick. Models are a strange mixture between science and magic that isn't quite understood, except by the Models themselves. Even then, it's more of a basic understanding. Even they don't know the specifics.

History: Models live in a relatively new dimension, by multiverse standards. It's only existed for about 17 Billion Multi-Years. Even then, it only began "growing" within the last 2 Million Multi-Years, developing life and its own universe. Models have existed for about 7 Billion Years, which is about 1 Multi-Year. In that time, the Models grew quickly, thriving because of their special abilities and capabilities for learning. They found ways to develop portals to other dimensions, and at first wanted to make peace. Then they had a bad experience with another Dimension, and realised that not every Dimension shared their ideals. So they approached things more carefully, but didn't dare approach some of the older Dimensions. Those places scared them. They just sent their scouting teams in more prepared. One day, a corrupt individual came into power. Their Essence Sphere had become dimmer and dimmer over the course of their life, almost becoming extinguished. But they held on. And when they came to power, they turned their efforts from improving Dimensional relationships to Dimensional Expansion. Under their rule, the Models conquered twenty-three smaller dimensions, turning them into the biggest Dimensional Empire that had been seen in Centuries (In Multi-Years, at least). Then one day, they bit off more than they could chew and tried to invade a twenty-fourth. They probably would have succeeded if the Dimension hadn't been warned in advance. The Allies of the Models began feeling sympathetic towards the other Dimensions...and afraid of the Models. So when they learned they were going to invade another Dimension, they warned said Dimension. That Dimension was the home of the Cryptals. The war that followed would last several years (in normal time) and would remain a stalemate. The Cryptals would fight hard to defend their land, and the Models just didn't have the manpower to overwhelm them, even with their abilities. But the leader of the Models didn't care. They were willing to drive their species to near extinction before they gave up. Which they didn't have the chance to. For years, an underground organization formed in the Model home Dimension, unhappy with how they treated other Dimensions. So one day, when their current Ruler was asleep, an unnamed hero struck, killing the corrupt individual and becoming the new Ruler. Their first order was to cease the Imperialism that had tainted their civilization for years. They released the twenty-three Dimensions and left them to their own devices, before calling an end to the Portal Wars. The Models referred to this person as the Savior, and they retired shortly after. Nobody knows what happened to the Savior, but there were rumors that they settled down and had children with another Model.

Culture: Models are ruled by a singular person at any given time (unless they have a spouse, which then there are two people). They don't have any kind of large government system other than the election of new Rulers. This Ruler has about 8 years to do whatever they want (though they can be overthrown, so they have to be careful), and they usually use this time to better Model society. However, a past Ruler instated a rule that Models can be given away to individuals from other Dimensions between the ages of newborn and 3 years old. If a Model can go through those three years without being "adopted", then they get to remain in the Model home Dimension. Models who are sent away are sent with a self-destructing device in their Essence Sphere that makes it so that once they reach a certain age (around 3-5 years old), they are automatically filled with the knowledge of what they are, why they're not in the Home Dimension, and that there's no coming back unless under special circumstances. Models who are raised in this manner are usually shunned in the Home Dimension, though "adopted" Models are better in many ways than Dimension-Raised Models. For example, they learn to cherish what they have, on top of whatever their "adopters" may have given them through their upbringing. It is theorized that the Ruler who made this rule either did this to prevent another Portal Wars incident by lowering the number of Models in the home Dimension, or they felt their species needed to be punished for their Imperialistic days. Either way, there's no way to revert this rule as it was protected by said Ruler's other rule that their changes can not be reverted. Ever. ...Well that was depressing. On to less depressing stuff. Whenever a Model chooses their color scheme, it usually determines what their personality is gonna be like. These colors include:
Red - Fiery, won't let anything stop them!
   Orange - Hard worker.
   Yellow - Bright, happy, optimistic.
   Green - Intelligent, calculating.
   Blue - A natural-born leader.
Purple/Pink - Daring, doesn't care what other people think.
White - Always willing to try new things.
Black - Prefer the simpler things in life.
A Model's color scheme may consist of one or more of these colors. A Model's color scheme may also change if they experience a significant change in their life that may cause a change in personality. Models also typically obsess over bladed weapons (swords, knives, scythes, etc.) for whatever reason. Probably a trait they gained when they were more Imperialistic and just never managed to get rid of. Either way, a Models arsenal will usually consist mostly of their preferred bladed weapons and whatever else they can acquire from close friends and loved ones.

Abilities:
Energy Transfer: Can transfer energy from their Essence Sphere into another being to help them recover. Extremely tiring.
Teleportation: A common ability, just not one preferred by Models to use.
Weapon Summoning: Whenever a Model decides their preferred bladed weapon, they can summon multiple versions of that weapon at any time.
Creation: Models can use the energy from their Essence Spheres to create various objects. They can't make too many, though, since the more objects they make, the more tired they gget, and the less energy they have.
Character Reader: A rare ability, but Models with this ability usually become high-ranking members of society. They can easily identify the personality, weaknesses, powers, and other such things instantly.
Bond - This trait is typically seen in "adopted" Models. When they become close to a person (and I mean really close), they form a Bond with said person (or animal, in some cases). The Model will then do whatever they can to protect those they have become Bonded with. The person they are Bonded with will suffer no effects from the Bond, but they might notice the change in behavior. Models can only Bond with one person at a time.

Relationships:
   Cryptals - Frenemies.
Saptems - Doesn't even know they exist.
