Champion Bio:

To understand Rexa's story, one must first understand the story of Laju.

The Laju is the undesired sister art of Wuju, the sword art that does not draw blood.

The Laju was created by a man named Chu. He was one of the first masters of the Wuju fighting style.

However, Chu did not agree with his fellow masters. He believed that if someone swings a blade, their main goal should be to draw blood, not the opposite.

Over the years, Chu's conflict with the Masters grew and his violent temper did not help. After Chu nearly crippled one of the students during a training session, he was finally kicked out and exiled.

Enraged, Chu swore that he would create his own fighting style. One that uses the same style as Wuju, but meant to draw blood.

Hearing legends of blood related magic called Hemomancy, Chu traveled from Ionia to the sand covered nation called Shurima.

Over there, he managed to pay a rogue mage into teaching him the basics of Hemomancy, in order for him to convert it with the Wuju style.

After many years of trail and error, Chu finally succeeded, and Laju, the art of drawing blood with the sword, was created.

Finding students and building a school was quite easy compared to creating the art itself. He made sure to pick up the most ruthless and cold blooded students, for Laju was no place for weakness.

Many years passed, and there were hardly any remains of Chu's school but a small building in Shurima. Currently, the students can be counted by the tens.

However, in modern time, a new student was born. He was named Rexa.

Rexa was born from two students of Laju, who wanted their child to be absolutely the strongest.

Rexa showed natural talent. A prodigy said to be on a level that wasn't seen since Chu himself.

He was put through harsh training not just by his parents, but by the school as well. His childhood was both lonely and harsh.

However, Rexa did not care, for her loved the Laju style.

He believed that it was the most beautiful fighting in the world. That it was like using the blood of your enemies to dance between them while killing them.

Rexa trained non stop. He battled the strongest students, hunted monsters, and fought mercenaries. He always killed them and bathed in their blood.

Through the years, the remaining teachers and students knew that Rexa was bound to be the new master, and most likely return Laju to its glory.

However, they never got the chance to know.

Renekton, the Butcher of Sands, came upon their school on his hunt for his brother Nasus.

In his madness, Renekton attacked their school.

All students and teachers fought back, but the Ascendant Warrior was far too powerful. One by one, they all fell.

Rexa was all that remained. His friends, his family, his home... They were all gone.

But Rexa did not care. He was too caught up in the battle to care. He can even say that he loved how their blood was surrounding him.

As things started to look desperate for the last Laju user, Rexa put all his power in one final attack, using the blood of the other Laju users as fuel.

The attack was so powerful that it managed to blow Renekton away, effectively giving him a scar on his chest.

However, it also caused Rexa to pass out.

When he woke up, there was no sign of Renekton, only pools of blood from his former comrades.

Rexa laughed.

He finally found his calling. He decided that he would hunt down Renekton, challenge him again, and then kill him.

That wasn't out of revenge. Rexa did not hate Renekton. In fact, he admired him.

If Renekton managed to kill the other Laju users, that means he was the best at drawing blood.

Rexa wanted that title.

So, gathering what he can, Rexa immediately set out in order to find the one person he admired the most. Not even bothering to bury the bodies - or leftovers - of the former Laju masters.

Now, Rexa travels around Shurima, sometimes working as a killer for hire, hell-bent on finding Renekton, and fighting him again.

Whoever died in that fight was no business of his. He just wanted to draw blood.

Abilities:

Passive: Laju Sword Master: (Build up charge with each strike, when charge is full, normal attacks are strengthened and the next spell deals more damage.)

Q: Blade Rush: (Rexa sends 5 slashes of blood at a direction, cutting anything in his path.)

W: Spiritual Blood: (Rexa uses blood to cover himself with a shield that lasts for 4 seconds, 8 if he recently damaged a champion.)

E: Blood Flash: (Blinking to a recently damaged champion. If that champion's health is below 40%, Rexa heals a portion of health.)

R: Blood Stained Blade: (Uses up all charge. Sending a powerful attack in the surrounding area. Rexus gains attack speed and damage for the next 10 seconds after casting this spell. The time gets longer with each kill.)
