Grey: I suppose it is possible to go hollow, but since we don't have to go through endless and painful deaths, it will only happen through time passing, so we shouldn't worry about that for a Millenia or two. And about the Abyss, it already had influence over time and worlds, and I already proved to do what's necessary in case an outbreak.

Grey: the only kindness you can give to those who went Hollow is a quick end.

Grey: you should know that I would do everything to protect my friends. And, if the worst happens, I can just kill everything around with the Soul of Death.
