While she is nice, she has an habit of ignoring people who she doesn't respect or if she simple doesn't like them. She is pretty adventurous because she loves traveling. She is also mature as she often restocks the traveling supplies for her brothers.

While Chynna doesn't remember going into the basement that fateful day, she feels regret for not stop Ed and Al. She shows sign of being curious about alchemy despite the fact that her mother's last wish for her not to use alchemy.

Background: Chynna was born an few weeks after her father had left. When she was two, she had to watch her mother die along with her brothers. The next few years were spent with her brothers until they go to Dublith to become Izumi's pupils. Chynna tagged along and stayed with Izumi and her husband while her brothers were on the island. During this time, Chynna met an boy name Mischa. They became fast friends and sent letters to each other after Mischa left the town. The day before her brothers left the island, Chynna received heartbreaking news that Mischa was killed in accident.

After returning to Resembool, Ed had Chynna stay in the kitchen while him and Al go to the basement. An while later, Chynna ventured to the basement only to see Ed missing his right arm and left leg, Al's soul in a suit of armor and the body of the grotesque being they created. After arriving at the Rockbells' house, Chynna collapses and later regains consciousness with no memories of her going into the basement hinting that her mind is repressing the memory. 

Other: Chynna doesn't know her father since she never met him so she dislikes him for leaving before she was born. She doesn't remember her mother very much since she was really young when her mother passed away. She is often told that she looks like Trisha. She keeps her fear of cats an secret since Al likes cats.
