Backstory: Leo Aiden Beckett was born in England in 1970 and joined the army when he was 20. He served until a traumatic experience lead to his discharge when he was 24. In the army he was a expert in weaponry and combat techniques, which made him a desirable candidate when Torchwood were looking for such a specialist. He was sought out and recruited and worked closely with Jack, Annora, the, leader Alex and helped to raise young Absentia until his eventual death.
