Personality:  Dean is known ti be a kind, sarcastic person. Over time, his sweet personality disappears after he becomes the last Edric, and learns more about his family, while still having to fight the newest killer. He's got a good heart, but it's sometimes not in the right place. He can be irrational at times and speak before he thinks.

Background: Dean's father died when he was very young, his mother getting sick only a few years after. Growing up to take care of her and his little brother, Jeremy, Dean never had the chance to learn about his family's history. That being, his ancestors are the first werewolves in existence. Dean grew up with old money, the friends he's made along the way only ever using him for that, so after a while, he grew to became a loner. During his sophomore year, Derek Hale 'turned' him, though he later discovers that his werewolf abilities were simply dormant.

More about the making of Dean: Originally, he was going to be named Jeremy and his little brother was going to be named Dean, but I decided against it last minute (and it's worked in my favor.) His story was going to go completely different, which was that he wasn't actually going to be bitten and stay as a human. I decided that he just be a werewolf for obvious reasons. If he hadn't been bitten but noticed something supernatural, then the pack would have most likely told him to ignore it. Instead, I had Derek turn Dean, which inevitably put him right in the middle. Dean was actually going to be a girl and her love interest was going to be Lydia, but I decided to do Dean and Stiles because ✨them.✨
