Backstory
Benny was born blind, which automatically made his big brother Billy super protective of him. As he grew up, Billy was always by his side, protecting him from the unfair people of the town and all of the unseen sharp objects.

When Benny was six, he was caught alone by the two most ruthless bullies in the entirety of Wu's Pride, who started to berate him for his blindness. They would have started to get physical if Billy hadn't caught them and saw red. Using throwing knives that he'd had on his person, Billy permanently scarred the faces of the bullies.

Afterwards, Billy was given a strict scolding by both their parents and the town elders. He was given six months of community service and his privilege to freely throw ammo was revoked until the six months were up. Benny felt terrible that he was the reason Billy was punished, though his big brother tried to play it off whenever he said so. Benny couldn't see his face, but he could hear the exhaustion in his voice when he said that.

From then on, Benny swore to never be a burden to his brother again - he swore to become stronger so he could support himself. So whenever Billy wasn't watching him like a scavenger, he was practicing getting around by himself. The training gave him a few scars and bruises, which Billy noticed, but Benny played it off as simply bumping into everything without his brother around. Unsurprisingly, that didn't make Billy feel better.

As time went on, Benny was improving in finding in his way around town by himself, but he was still running into things more often then he would like. He needed guidance.

Luckily, he got not one, but three great teachers.

One day, he wandered a little too far outside the town boundaries in an attempt to test his navigation skills against the rough terrain of the desert, yet found himself in the middle of nowhere with no clue how to get back and no way to figure out where he was. He was on the verge of a panic attack before he felt a collective gust of wind on his face. A little bit of exploration with his hands revealed three different young dragons in front of him; a dragon of earth, a dragon of wind, and a dragon of sound.

And as they took turns exploring his features as well, he realized with delight that they were also blind.

The three dragons helped Benny back to Wu's Pride, though they didn't leave. While Billy and their parents thought the quartet had found each other simply because they were all blind, the three dragons had different intentions. They joined Benny in his practices and passed their navigation skills onto him. From the dragon of earth, he learned how to sense vibrations in the ground and determine exactly where they were coming from, which formed a mental picture of the landscape. From the dragon of wind, he learned how to read wind currents and gauge how fast a person or airborne object was traveling. From the dragon of sound, he learned how to keep his ears open for every noise and determine how many surfaces the sound had bounced off of before it reached him.

For the first time since he was born, Benny was finally starting to get around like a person who could see.

But he felt that he still needed to learn how to defend himself. Fortunately, his chiropractor mother, thinking her youngest son had no chance in the town's fighting rings, decided to teach him her craft. She taught him how to feel along the muscles of the human body and find all of the pressure points, as well as teaching him what pressing each point would do. She meant for this knowledge to be used for a future in the medical service, but Benny saw his chance to use it to his advantage.

Now his secret practices contained of working the chiropractic knowledge into a fighting style of his own, using a medical dummy as a target. Nearly perfected, he considered telling Billy about his training, but feared that his brother wouldn't approve of it and demand that he stop. So he didn't tell Billy or anyone with a connection to Billy - that was practically everyone in Wu's Pride.

His dream is to one day participate in the fighting rings and show his brother that he was no longer weak. All he wants is for Billy to be proud of him.

Trivia
- The numerous scars on his body are from learning to get around by himself. It was trial and error from the get-go.

- The strap of pockets around his torso are there specifically so he can tell if someone tries to steal from him.

- He's one of the few people in Wu's Pride with more than one dragon.

- His mother is a chiropractor, which is how he and Billy know how to strike pressure points.

- He keeps his hair long to read wind currents; besides, his eyes don't work, so covering them up does nothing. He also refuses to wear shoes so he can continually read tremors in the ground.

- He gets along fine with his cousins, though Rose likes to tease him for his blindness. She's family, so he lets it slide.

- His Hunter Name "Little Blind Boy" wasn't his choice, but once you get a nickname of any kind in the First Realm, it sticks.

- He loves to make music; it makes him feel in control. When he's not training, he can be found experimenting with different instruments.

- When he meets a new person, he makes a point to feel along their arm and hand to memorize their callouses. He says you can learn a lot about a person just from feeling their hands.

- His character design was inspired by Toph from "Avatar: The Last Airbender", and his unique fighting style is inspired by Ty Lee of the same show.

Personality: Benny is usually shy and soft-spoken, speaking only when he is spoken to. That being said, he is very welcoming and friendly, and will joke about his own limits in order to make someone feel better. He's also very considerate of another person's boundaries, as he always asks if it is okay for him to feel their arm, since that's how he memorizes the people he meets. He loves his brother, but is exasperated by his overprotectiveness, especially if the person Billy is "defending" him from was just being nice.
