Personality: Roxie is a hard person to nail down. Sweet and flirtatious, but also at times mean and cruel, she adapts into who she needs to be in order to get what she wants. Having had to fend for herself for a very long time, she is incredible at reading people, and adapts herself. Her true self just being someone who wants to be loved and taken care of, someone who is loving at their core, Roxie doesn't often come across that way. Having layer upon layer of armor around her heart, Roxie doesn't let that many people get close to her heart. It's best that way - she doesn't want to get hurt, and she doesn't want to hurt someone she cares about. She doesn't like the look on their face when she does. Wily and cunning, Roxie sometimes ends up in situations she isn't prepared to get out of - when she's desperate she doesn't always think of consequences. At times manipulative, that's partly how she's survived as long as she has. Coy and distant, the mystery that sometimes surrounds her is something she uses in her favor. No one truly knows the real Roxie, and it will likely take a miracle for someone to get close enough to.

Backstory: Roxanne grew up in a very, very bad home. Without going into too much detail, physical abuse was common practice, especially against Roxanne, who was most vocal in snapping back at her father. Until she ran away at age 15, she'd become quite adept at hiding what had happened to her, and finding various methods of escape from her life - both good and bad, very bad. Out on the streets, Roxie fell into some trouble she wasn't quite skilled enough to get out of, and fell deeper into herself and her escapes. Now on her own, and semi-detached from the trouble she fell into, she is scrambling to make a life for herself - one she can be proud of, and one that can't be taken from her. Unfortunately for her, that isn't going as well as she is expecting. Often crashing on someone's couch or in a homeless shelter, she is saving up money to finally find herself a place to stay - only she isn't in rehab and often backslides. She has managed to 'trick' people into letting her stay with them, giving her money, or giving into her addictions, but slowly she is climbing her way out of that life. Key word being 'slowly.' Working many jobs, all of which she has managed to hold down despite her various issues, she does have people that care for her, deeply. Only, she isn't aware of that fact. Nor is she aware where her older brother, Rocco, is. She lost contact with him when he left for college and never came back - when she was 12 years old. She is constantly searching for him, as he is her - though both are unaware of that fact.
