Personality: Javiera is a sweetheart. She is the mom-friend, through and through, and she dotes on the people she loves, mainly through her cooking. She'll stop to help someone on the street, or in a store, or anywhere she sees someone in need. Calm and gentle, there is a certain serenity and strength to Javiera that people tend to take comfort in. With a soothing voice and disposition, even strangers find themselves relaxed by her, and spilling out what has got them down. A young woman putting herself through college - she is studying to be a therapist - she seems to do it all with ease. Any stress she may feel is usual unnoticed, though not because she is hiding it, but because she usually works it into something productive. Though Javiera has been blessed without hounding anxiety, her life can be tough, as she is doing it all on her own. However, that never stops a smile from appearing on her face or a kind word from being shared. Being there for others helps her feel better herself, and she does what she can, when she can. Endearing and kind, she is a often called a saint by those around her, even though she brushes that off. Modest and humble, she sees no particular action of hers as noteworthy or unusual, because to her, anyone would do what she does. Right? She likes to believe so.
Likes: helping, baking, cooking, writing, talking with others, bringing comfort, kids, animals, communication, walks
Dislikes: when she can't help someone, when she falls behind in payments or work, being mistreated, being alone, being unsupported
Backstory: Javiera grew up in a family of small, modest means. Churchgoers and family oriented, she grew up with the role model of spare everything that you can to help others. Only keep what is needed to get by and survive, give everything else to others. Her parents were always helping other people out, and was her entire family. Deeply entwined, if someone was struggling, everyone pitched in to help. Javiera, for the most part, has taken this example to heart and still sticks to it today. Having moved away from home - and though she misses her family greatly and goes back to visit when she can - she brings that sort of life to the community she is now in. Studying to be a therapist - well, psychologist technically - she works at a bakery to help put herself through school. On scholarship, she has to find some way to pay the rest, though she has also taken out loans. Doing what she can, she is almost always either at school, at the bakery, or doing work for one or the other. She makes time for the people in her life, but opts for a night at her place with her friends around her, rather than going out and about. She truly just wants to help people and brighten their day, and working at a bakery fulfills that until she can become a therapist. A prolific cook herself, it's how she shows her love - through food. A hopeless romantic, she reads romance novels in her free time, and she hopes one day to find a romance of her own, and to have kids of her own. For now, she's just content with her life.
