Personality: Asmodeus is the being that all parents warn their kids about. He's a being made from nightmares, from every deep, dark, terrible thing about the world. Yet when one looks at him, something about him disarms them. A false sense of security. Asmodeus is whoever he needs to be, in any given situation. A charming flirt, a cold issuer of threats, a shoulder to cry on. He does his research, adapting to the situation like a chameleon, so that his end-goal can be achieved. Yet the really smart ones can sense there is more to Asmodeus, a deep evil and darkness that lurks in his soul, just below the surface. Asmodeus is a cold blooded killer, yet there are certain lines he will not cross. What those lines are, however, are known only to Asmodeus, and those lucky enough - or unlucky enough - to get a glimpse of the man that lurks deep inside the nightmare. Asmodeus is a curious being, though one can't always tell that. He is fascinated by the minds and souls of others; why do they do what they do? why do they care what happens to others? why do they care what happens to strangers? why do they try to play hero, or cower in his presence? He is infinitely curious about why people are the way they are. Is it something in their soul? Is it how they were raised? Is it something else? If you manage to snag his interest - beware. That either means your life is soon to be his, or your world is about to be turned upside down. Whatever the case, whether you live or die, depends on what you do in his presence. Asmodeus has let people go - often erasing their memories by burying them down deep, deep in their minds and souls, thereby protecting his identity and his home. These memories resurface, though often in nightmares than true memory, and Asmodeus will check back in every so often, to bury the memories again if needed. Asmodeus is a cold being, though his emotions can be explosive. Especially his anger - either cold and biting or fiery and destructive - there is no preparing for it. Asmodeus does what he does because he enjoys his work, because to him, it is necessary. Despite this, he knows he is a monster, a demon, a ghoulish nightmare to be unleashed - and he relishes in it, savors it. Even if, deep down - so deep, at the end of a nearly infinite drop - he is just a broken man with a traumatic, terrible past. A past he pushes aside.

Soul Manipulation can only be done if the other is amenable - if they are a naturally stubborn person, their soul is harder to manipulate, however it is easier for him to cleave a soul from a body than manipulate it
Mind Reading is easiest for him, along with basic Umbrakinesis, and Mind Control takes some exertion
Teleportation, each jump takes a bit out of him, and the longer the distance, the more it takes from him

Backstory: Not much is known about Asmodeus - his existence isn't known to the wider world. Those who have heard of the Death-Bringer often don't even know what he looks likes, they only know what he does. He's a whisper in the night, rumors swirling in the Underworld. He is for hire, though how to hire him is a widely kept secret. If you manage it, count yourself desperate and in danger - should his information be leaked, you will be dead. Many don't even know if Asmodeus is one being, the same one who has spanned the years since ancient times, or a different man, trained to take on the mantle. People aren't even sure if Asmodeus is a title, or his real name. Personal information is only ever revealed to those about to die, or those who somehow earn it, or find out. His name has been uttered since the ancient times, his likeness captured in murals of the Underworld, on vases, or in old myths, buried deep down in the mythos known in modern times. Is he Greek, Roman, or something far more ancient? Is he even of this world, this Earth? Is he the same Asmodeus in the Bible, the Demon of Wrath, or does he simply share the name? If you find out, don't share it.
