Physical description: appears similar to other grimm, but with purple markings instead of red.

Bio: neruga is one of the grimm created by (REDACTED), and similar to his other grimm, has no hostility towards humans, animals, or faunus unless hungry, or provoked.

Neruga has a second set of jaws inside it's own mouth and these jaws have a light in the middle. This purple light appears to be a lure, drawing in flying grimm and large ocean grimm like leviathans towards it.

But they all share a few common characteristics

1. The pits are formed far away from any civilization

2. They are formed in areas with elder grimm or large amounts of flying grimm.

3. The pits, while seemingly large,aren't wide enough to swallow a city or town as local hysteria claims. And neruga itself doesn't apppear to like anything other then grimm falling into its pits.

Once a grimm has been lured to the pit neruga will either drain it of its energy, while weakening and hurting the said grimm will live to provide future nourishment. Or it will drag them into the pit and consume them.

Neruga also has displayed the ability to communicate. Its been theorized that more then one grimm worm have been created as there have been three different sightings of grimm worm, with neruga having never left its original home territory which is in vale.

So far this theorizing could later be true.

Neruga has also shown high levels of strength and speed. As it, although (REDACTED) has refered to it as a he actually, has been seen punting flying elder grimm charging at it back to ground level with no signs of backlash. And had shown the ability to leap from its pits, despite being shown to move around underground neruga has not once made a tremor or earthquake hinting at its arrival or passage.

Additional info: neruga also appears to use it's screech to stun opponents and summon grimm to its aid. Although it rarely does the last mentioned action.
