Backstory
Marina was born in Colombia to parents Emilio and Penelope Gaviria. Her father has been in the cartel since he was 18, expecting his daughter to do the same.

Emilio wanted a lot of children, as that would allow the cartel and the Gaviria name to grow, but Penelope was only able to give him one, due to complications. Because of this, Emilio has always held a grudge over his wife, eventually sacrificing her to end an ongoing drug feud.

Although it stopped the cartel feud, a new one began inside his mind when his guilty conscience would constantly remind him of the incident.

Since then, he'd spoiled Marina even more than he did. She eventually found out about the truth and left her luxurious mansion in Colombia. She stays in contact with her father, finding it hard to let go.
