Personality: Mara is a sweet kid, just like her sister. But she is also very protective of Sona. When first meeting you, she'll act like she trusts you because Sona goes on tone to decide who to trust. Mara will play nice, but she won't let you near her little sister.

Backstory: Mara was a nearly normal kid, with other than her taking a long time to talk. Her parents didn't understand why Mara barely talked at first; they assumed that she just didn't want to, or that she was mute. But when she finally did speak for once, they were thrilled; but she still needed help learning to talk. After trying everything they could, and taking care of her and Sona until they were two, the parents finally realized that Sona was blind. Their parents didn't want a blind child, so they abandoned Sona and Mara at a very young age.

They at least were able to give them up to a good orphanage, even though the twins still heavily depended on them. At the orphanage, the workers took care of Sona and Mara for the remaining time they spent there. They were given uniforms, and Mara was taught how to speak properly. She was a quick learner, and helped Sona with whatever she could, and put in effort to learn braille. Mara was able to help read her things that didn't have braille, and aided Sona in walking.

After a year of staying there, they had found a few friends. Mara remembers her parents vividly, and is still confused and angry on why they were dropped off at the orphanage. Unfortunately, they haven't been adopted yet.
