Backstory=
Bekah stuck with her father & brother throughout the start of the apocalypse because at that time all she wanted was to feel safe and protected but as time went on, she had to learn how to survive and take care of herself. Her brother & father weren't the kindest and given their current situation (the apocalypse) they took advantage of the lack of law & authority. Many other heartless people joined them until it turned into a community and her father and brother were obviously the leaders. Whoever they came across during their journey was in for a bad day because they'd steal, hurt anyone who they came into contact with and even kill if it was necessary, however, it soon escalated to were they would take people hostage and it always seemed that every group they passed someone would end up dead.

After years of torture, Bekah couldn't take it anymore, she couldn't watch innocent people being murdered just for trying to survive and as she attempted to leave, her father ended up being locked up in the cells they made at their community but in her defence she shot him in the leg. Her father was livid, he felt betrayed that his own daughter wanted to runaway after all he built but he never told her brother anything. Thankfully she managed to escape by persuading her old time friend to free her and left with a few cuts & bruises since she had to fight her way through the small group of guards that caught her. They are still out looking for her now.
