So essentially there is this kingdom ruled by a human man King Alistar and by a alicorn monster Queen Munna they have managed to keep the peace between humans and monsters and even had their son Adonis who was half human half alicorn monster one day they brought in a group of monsters from a village where monsters hadn't been treated kindly by humans one of them being Asgore after getting them settled into the kingdom and teaching them their ways most of the monsters complied seeing this place was different but Asgore his heart was hardened by his hatred for humans and what they had done to him so he tried to express this with the king and queen he ended up challenging king Alistar for the throne he refused Asgore started the battle though so Alistar had to fight unfortunately Asgore bested him in battle killing him leaving Munna and Adonis to flee but they were caught later Asgore granted them mercy though since they were monsters but Adonis had to remain hidden in the castles as Asgore forced or killed the remaining humans out of his kingdom leaving the humans who were left to come up with a plan to get their kindgom back thus starting the great war
