Backstory: Alexander was born a year after Lily and James were married. The two were worried about about raising a child and fighting Voldemort so they sent Alexander to be taken care of by his godparents, Frank and Alice Longbottom. He grew up under the care of his godparents until they were put in St Mungo's. Augusta Longbottom felt sorry for him and decided to raise him along with her grandson.
