Species: Indian Fantail Pigeon

Physical Description: Maple is a stout, fluffy-feathered, dark brown pigeon with a long, spreading tail, white freckles above his beak, a pale, brown belly, and white dapples on both thighs. His beak is pale brown, almost a tan colour, and he has blue-yellow Heterochromia. He's often seen wearing a blue-and-yellow hoodie, and headphones. His eyes are large, and his legs are quite short. His heavy, long tail makes him a little bottom-heavy, and thus it's hard for him to move around easily. 

Personality: Maple is a pure, happy, bubbly soul with a massive heart and endless curiosity. He's an airhead, but always means well, and it's relatively easy for him to make friends. He's innocent, and jokes often go over his head. Maple is very emotional, and if anyone yells at him, it usually ends in tears, despite his assistance that he's "Tough enough to handle anything." He's pretty social, but does enjoy his solitude, and usually spends it watching shows (Heartstoppers) and drinking tea.

Age: Fluid. It evolves with mine, and I'm not going to completely reveal my age right now, but he's a younger teen.

Likes:  Tea, listening to music, his friends, comfy clothing, fall, sleeping in late, baking, sweet foods, stickers.

Dislikes: Being yelled at, sour foods, waking up early, confrontation, messy spaces, when hot drinks get cold, crying. 

Backstory: Maple is a comfort character; he doesn't have a massive backstory, because he won't be used for story purposes. It might be developed in the future, but for now, he doesn't have one!

Other Info, Facts and Trivia:

-Maple has a fursuit version! It's in my Costumes and Creations book, as well as the art section. 

-Maple met Viola, Spottedsound, Iris, and Blaire at a pride event, and remains friends with them to this day.

-He's often been mistaken for dating Viola or Iris, despite Iris being in a relationship, and Maple not being attracted to females. 

-Maple's favourite tea is Chai!

-I imagine Maple's voice to be similar to that of Naethan Apollo! 

-He experiences bad circulation throughout his body, making it so that he almost always has a blanket or sweater present.

-Maple is allergic to eggs and certain pollens.
