Name and Past Names: Hopekit, Hopepaw, Hopewilt, Poisonberry.

Physical Description: Hopewilt is a long-furred cream she-cat with Amber-Gold Heterochromia, large ginger paws, and generally short stature. She has a ginger stripe down her back, some pale ginger dapples on her flanks, and large, ginger, tattered ears, one ear is shredded nearly down to her skull, and the other notched near the tip. She tends to keep a certain berry tucked into her bobtail or behind her shredded ear, and her resting face is very offputting to anyone she doesn't know. Hopewilt's claws are permanently chipped, partially a result of digging through the avalanche many moons ago, and partially a result of never taking proper care of them, and using them roughly. 

In her Land of Shattered Moons form, Hopewilt's left eye is blind, and covered by a Black Rose. Withered vines cover her legs and neck, and more budding and opened Black Roses are scattered throughout her pelt. Her remaining eye is inverted, with the pupil being dark reddish amber, and the whites of her eye being black. Her pelt is darkened slightly, and permanently dirty, and her claws have taken the form of rose thorns. (Black Roses signify despair, vengeance, farewell, sorrow, the death of old habits, and hope. Very fitting to Poisonberry's ending story) 

Scars: Hopewilt has a multitude of scars covering her body, the most prominent being a large scar over her left eye, earned in a fight with her brother. She also has a spread of barely visible scars over her right shoulder from the fight at the gathering, a tattered ear, and a notched ear from separate conflicts, and many small scars covering her pelt, mostly hidden, from general conflicts and wear. She also lost her left eye in her last earthly battle, and had it contribute to her appearance in the Land of Shattered Moons. 

Personality: Rough-around-the-edges, intelligent, and cold, Hopewilt can seem very intimidating to anyone she doesn't care for. She is known for her short temper and snappish mouth, often using words as a weapon in confrontation. She rarely opens up to anyone and keeps her distance from most cats. She's a wanderer, and a lone soul, and cherishes her solitude. She enjoys collecting oddities, such as bones, Twoleg objects, berries, flowers, interesting stones, and other materials and has quite the stash in her private den in the forest, her favourite being a magpie skull. She is very hardworking, but only for herself; when being ordered around, she'll become stubborn. Hopewilt has a soft spot for very few and keeps her circle small- reserved for Berrypaw, Fallenbird, her mother, and a few other mutual friends. She cares deeply for Berrypaw, and cherishes him like her own son, hating to see him sad, hurt, or upset. He's one of the only cats since Screechpaw that she's fully opened her heart to- and then had it shattered again. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: Berrypaw is a character we will meet further into Poisonberry's Vengeance. All I'll reveal is that Hopewilt adopts him as her son.)

Father: Ashenwater, a tall, proud, dark blue-gray tabby tom with a long tail, blue eyes, and long limbs. (Deceased)

Bluehawk, a standofish, tall, blue-gray tom with a paler face, paws and tail, blue eyes, and short, thick fur. 

Screechpaw, a small, skinny, cream-tabby tom with golden eyes, a long tail, and a white paw. (Deceased) 

Son: Berrypaw, a stout, bouncy, black-and-white tom with bright green eyes, a folded ear, and short legs. (Deceased)

Likes: The night, oddities, birds, bones, Berrypaw, solitude, autumn, cloudy days, the taste of fish, wading in water, plants. 

Dislikes: Being ordered around, grief, being in spaces with a lot of other cats, judgment, Emeraldshatter, Bluehawk, avalanches, nightmares. 

Other Info, Facts and Trivia:

-Hopewilt's mother was originally named Wisewish!

-I imagine her voice to be similar to that of Loona, from Helluva Boss. 

-Hopewilt was going to be sapphic/lesbian, and take a female loner as a mate in the early drafts of her story!

-She has some MeadowClan, and some RippleClan blood through very distant relatives.

-Hopewilt has heavy trauma from early events in her life, and thus has trouble connecting with others, and being friendly. But once she is attached to someone, in the rare case she develops relationship affinity, she gets VERY attached, to the point of obsession. She also has frequent disrupted sleep, and nightmares, although they vary in frequency. 

-She is close with Withercreek and Scarletstar in the afterlife and rises as Scarletstar's second-in-command/advisor. 

-She has built up a tolerance to most poisons, including Yew/Deathberry, Deadly Nightshade, and Antlerberry, from frequent experimentation, use and abuse. That's not to say these plants can't kill her- they most certainly could. Just much slower, and it would take a much larger dose. 

-She's the first Warrior OC I made who features an unhappy ending to her story.

-She was also my second Dark Forest/Land of Shattered Moons OC, developed close behind Scarletstar, and not very far ahead of Withercreek.

-She originally was going to be named Poisonkit/Poisonberry from birth, but the reasoning was weak, so I changed it.
