Lightsaber Forms:

Form VII(Vaapad) - the most vicious and dangerous form of lightsaber combat, and was said to be filled with both fury and "malignant grace." The form came to be known as the most difficult and demanding in all of saber combat. While Vaapad on other hand, described as more than a fighting style; it was a state of mind that led through the penumbra of the dark side, requiring the user to enjoy the fight, and relish the satisfaction of winning. It would accept the fury of their opponent, transforming them into one half of a superconducting loop, with the other half being the power of darkness inherent in the opponent.

Form IV(Ataru) - Lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. It combines strength, speed, agility, powers and the Force to aid in movement in combat. Mastered in both Lightsaber & Force training under the tutelage of his first mentor, the Grandmaster himself, Yoda.

Varen Shan was born in Dantooine on 43BBY(Before the Battle of Yavin IV), 2 years before the Chosen One known as Anakin Skywalker was born.

His parents are Jarik Shan, a former Jedi Knight and descendant of Revan & Bastila Shan, who was disillusioned about the Jedi Order due of the latter focus on the interests of the Republic and the Senate rather than the Force itself which resulted him to left the Order & Rinoa Vizsla, a female Mandalorian came from House Vizsla, who is also related to Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian of the Jedi Order and the wielder of the Darksaber.

Like Jarik, Rinoa left the Traditionalist faction of Mandalorians(who would go on to become radical splinter extremist faction known as Death Watch led by her cousin Pre Vizsla) after the Mandalorian Civil War due of the latter resorted of terrorism and violence against innocent civilians while she became a bounty hunter.

The two individuals did met and fought each other due of long rivalry between Jedi and Mandalorians but unexpectedly, a Gundark appears and tried to mauled Rinoa but Jarik saved her life and slayed the beast. This led the two form a bond of respect which eventually fall in love. The two were married and lived in Dantooine where Varen was born.

Varen has his own Mandalorian birth name: Marr Vizsla(a reference to the honorable Sith Lord from the Old Republic era, Darth Marr). He was trained by both Jedi and Mandalorian training by his parents in hopes for survival and become a greater warrior.

When Varen is 7, a Jedi arrived to Dantooine to find a powerful Force Sensitive being. That Jedi is none other than Rahm Kota, who is a close friend of Jarik Shan back in the Order and discovered his friend had a wife and child. There, he discovered Varen as Force Sensitive being he sensed and offered to bring him into the Temple.

At first, the couple refused but a Force Ghost of Revan appears and told them that Varen will be the one not only save the galaxy from rising darkness but to change the ways of the Jedi or in alternative way, a different but new path for the future. Before saying a goodbye to their child, Jarik gave his little son a Jedi Holocron while Rinoa gave a Mandalorian vambraces & a Myrthosaur necklace to remember them.

Kota brought the child to the Jedi Temple and introduced to Master Yoda, Master Windu and other Masters in the Council. They sense Varen's raw, unimaginable power within him and but they discovered that he is a descendant of Revan, the Jedi who lead his crusade during the Mandalorian Wars, defeating Mandalore the Ultimate but was fell to the Dark Side & became Darth Revan and launched the Jedi Civil War before him & the story was vanished from the archives.

But before they decide a decision to not accept Varen, the ghost of Satele Shan appears to them and told them he is the one will destined to unite the Order and the galaxy from inevitable fall from a new threat(aka Sith) while also help the fate of the prophecy of the Chosen One(aka Anakin Skywalker) in the future. In the end, the Council agreed to let Varen join the Order.

Through years, Varen was trained as a Padawan by Rahm Kota, the same master he was found. Sometimes, he was bit rebellious but not too impatient, whiny & ego like Anakin. He was fascinated towards the heroes & history of the Old Republic as well as his ancestor Revan. He studied about the arts about the Force, the lightsaber training, combat styles and strategies and tactics from the Old Republic warfare.

He excelled on his trainings and sometimes, he can help other Jedi Padawans & Younglings who were new or struggling to learn including Anakin Skywalker which the two made a friendship.

He did met the ghosts of Satele Shan and a Sith Lord Darth Marr during meditation and became his guides(Satele taught him about more things about the Force while Marr taught him how to use the Dark Side without corruption or falling). However, Master Yoda was grown weary about Varen's skills and abilities yet his future clouded with unknown such as following the similar dark path of Darth Revan.

So Master Yoda decide to train Varen as his second master to further his Force trainings and prevent him to fall on the Dark Side, not knowing Varen already learned the Dark Side but never fall or corrupted. After completed his trials, he was given a rank of a Jedi Knight. He was there in the Battle of Geonosis at the start of the Clone Wars but the loss of so many Jedi in the battlefield cause him to be disillusioned towards the Order which eventually, he vanishes without a trace like a ghost. No one knows where he was, not even his former master Rahm Kota could not find him.

As the Clone Wars began, some unexpected events began to appear as  some criminal organizations and others affiliated with the Separatist Alliance were destroyed by a mysterious rogue forces known as "Neo Revanites" led by a masked armored figure wielding a white lightsaber and a replica mask of Darth Revan before disappears after the attack which the witnesses who saw the figure began called him as "Ghost".

Even more shocking, the Ghost & Neo Revanites also target the slave trades and corrupted Republic senators which made him an enemy both the Jedi Order and the Republic for this deliberate attack.

However, that will change where 3 Jedi: Anakin Skywalker, his Padawan Ahsoka Tano and Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi after the Battle of Christophsis, were sent to Tattoine to return Jabba the Hutt's son Rutta, only to found out a Slave Rebellion occured where armed rebel slaves led by Cliegg Lars(Anakin's stepfather) stormed the Jabba's Castle and killed the Hutt leader, ending the Hutt Cartel's long decades of slave rule on the planet.

To make matters more shocking, it was orchestrated by the Ghost & Neo Revanites appears to the Jedi before the Ghost revealing to be Varen Shan himself as the leader of the rogue forces. Little that Anakin, Obi Wan and Ahsoka knew that this event would forever altered the Clone Wars and the galaxy forever.
