prince eclipse is a dear old friend of the two sisters princess luna and celesita when there is a eclipse he would come to equestria to visit them as he lives a different part of the world as he rules his own kingdom but he refuse to be called a king because he feels he doesn't deserve that title of that responsibility but when he comes over he sometimes spend time with the two princess as them begin long child hood friends the two sister would develop feelings for him but they wont say anything tho its only if feels the same way but he doesn't say anything about it anyway because his darker self name chaos who has feelings for nightmare moon and daybreaker who is inside celestia but very well kept up inside of her because celesita wont ever get jealous
