-Healing: Arien was gifted the power of healing from his mother. He has used it to help heal minor cuts and bruises, to help heal broken legs and burns from his time serving in the Dawn Court's army
-Taking Away Pain: Unlike some of his Dawn Court companions, Arien has the ability to take away pain. While he has to be touching the person in pain, he manages to dull it while causing himself a gentle ache.
Sexuality| Questioning. He is not straight but he wouldn't consider himself bi either, though he enjoys the presence of both men and women, but women more so than men.

Appearance|

Ji Chang Wook—Arien has beautiful dark hair with matching brown eyes. While he doesn't appear overly muscular, his body is toned and strong from all his years in the Dawn Court army. He typically lets his hair grow long, at least until his mother threatens to cut it.

Personality| Arien is carefree. Being the middle child in his family, he has grown to learn that his parents don't particularly pay too much attention to him. He also likes to toy with other people on occasion. He doesn't think of the repercussions, especially considering his family, while not noble, has influence and the means to get him out of trouble. He's gotten a representation with his lovers that both bring people and push them away from him. He's not overly sentimental either. He cares greatly for his family, but would never let anyone know as even he tries to deny this fact. It is just one of the various masks he wears.

Background|
-Arien was born to his parents Melanie and Kei Mastif. At the time, his older brother, Kaito, was 100. Both of his parents came from good standing in the court, and their fortune only grew as their trading business began to grow. Though not enough to be considered nobility.
-He was greatly loved by his parents, and from an early age, his father pushed him to be more like him, and follow after his brother and join the Dawn Court forces. Which he eventually did.
-His early childhood was uneventful. His brother was never around as he continued his military career, he grew into his healing abilities, and his parents' fortune grew, and new expectations were set for Arien by the time he turned 80. He was meant to find his wife or mate, whichever came first, and look and act presentable. While he did not mind this at first, when his mother became pregnant again, he began to notice he could get away with things because his family was hyper focused on her and her condition. He would sneak out, visit brothels and taverns, and live his life the way he wanted without a worry or care. This was also when he discovered he may not be straight.
-Arien's youngest brother, Rai, was born when he was 92, 12 years after his family came into good standing and wealth.
-He never got to spend much time with Rai as his father and Kaito enlisted him soon after and he was shipped off. However, he did not hate his experience. Instead found a new passion for himself. There were no expectations from his parents, and the only orders he had to follow were from his commander.
-Much like his brother, Arien rose through the ranks, becoming a skilled fighter, and vital after battles that left soldiers injured. After doing rounds and helping those still injured after a particularly gruesome skirmish, he discovered his ability to also take away the pain of other people. He kept this relatively secret as he knew if too many found out it would not end well for him.
-Arien continued to fight for the Dawn Court  for another 30 years. His last fight was against a group of rebel humans that left him severely injured. His leg had been broken near his hip, and he had received a gash on his chest leaving him immobile. He was devastated to be released from army, but there was no other option for him. Read sent home to recover.
-Back home, he recovered as normally, but he was never the same. He hated that he couldn't do anything, and even with his accelerated healing, he was never allowed to return. It took less to make him lash out, and became unable to sit still for too long. So instead he helped Rai grow into a man, and once he was able to, began sneaking out again, and causing more trouble. His parents tried to train him to take over the trading business, but it was no use.
-While his parents have looked away from his nightly activities, he has gained quite the reputation in the underworld of the Dawn Court from his nightly endeavors in brothels, as well as shady business with a few fae. But he always puts on his mask so no one sees the real Arien.

Skills|
-Arien is sneaky. He covers his tracks well, and it would take a miracle to find out if he had anything to do with a shady deal or night out.
-He is also a skilled healer thanks to his abilities. More often than not has he healed a broken bone or scrape.
-He is also very secretive. If he tells you a secret it means he either trusts you or you're about to dîe.

Trivia|
-Arien's leg never completely healed, so on days where he has been standing, or on particularly cold days, his leg aches and he gets a small limp.
-He never wanted to forget what the humans did to him, so he purposely made it so his chest would scar, leaving a nasty red line from the center of his chest to just above his navel.
-Since his oldest brother was never around, and his parents constantly sing his praises, Arien has come to resent his older brother, making family gathering awful for him.
-His favorite place to escape is the lake, nearly five miles from his home.
