Story:Simon grew up on the road as a traveling musician with his parents. As soon as he possibly could his parents started teaching him how to play various instruments as well as Sound Magic. After a few years he could tell that his family cared more about music than him. They traveled around in a caravan that would stop in each town to play a few songs then on to the next town. One day when the caravan stopped in Magnolia they already played their songs and were looking for food for the road. When Simon returned the caravan had left without him. He was sad but he had thought about this happening before so it wasn't incredibly surprising. He walked around Magnolia for a few day before finding the Fairy Tail guildhall and becoming a member.
