Aesha Laghari | Human
Name: Aesha Krishna Laghari
Nickname: Aesh, Miss
Age: Twenty-two
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Biromantic, Bisexual (Believes she's heterosexual and heteroromantic)
-
Eye Color: Dark brown
Hair Color: Black
Build: Under-weight, Short, Petite
Scars/Tattoos/Birthmarks: No tattoos, no known birthmarks. Usually some hidden bruises and such.
Appearance: Aesha is a small woman, both in height and weight. Weight-wise, she's hardly more than a stick, and in her bad months, you can kind of see her bones through her skin, though usually this doesn't happen often. She also has no muscle. Height-wise, she is only 5'01. She has warm brown skin from her Indian heritage, and it's mostly smooth, though it's far from perfect. Against her parent's wishes, she doesn't wear much makeup. Aesha's eyes are dark brown, but she has amber flecks deep in them, making them a pretty feature, to some. Aesha's hair is long, reaching her upper back, a darker black and curly. On humid days, it gets really puffy, but usually there's just a tight curl look to it.
-
Personality: Aesha is, in a way, two-faced. This could also be described as withdrawn or secretive, however. But the thing is, no side of her is truly fake, she just pulls parts of her personality when she sees fit.
Around groups of people, Aesha is a definite extrovert. She's perfectly confident being the center of attention, and she rarely gets anxious. Unless you try to pry into her life. You can see she's ambitious, and has lots of plans for her kingdom. If you get her talking about things she loves; you'll probably never get her to stop. She's a realist, though, and sees things as they are, so her head is certainly not in the clouds.
If you get on her bad side; usually by insulting her, prying into her life, ignoring her wishes, or making her jealous, Aesha is entirely different. She'll be cold, closed-off, and quite judgmental. Her usual rambles will die down into one word replies, and she won't hesitate to yell at you if you push beyond her quiet phase. Because she is pretty vocal. Unless she's scared of you. If she's scared of you, Aesha will go quiet and show a timid side that pretty much nobody sees. Even then though, you can probably identify her silent rebellion and confidence.
If you somehow, though, get to the raw, real side of Aesha; you'll see a confused, love-deprived young adult who is fighting for a say in things. She doesn't like being bossed around, because it reminds her of her parents. She also doesn't like being mocked or insulted, because she'll actually be really offended, even if she won't show it. But if you have seen her vulnerable side already and accepted it, she might open to you and just flat-out tell you she was hurt by what you said. If you're just being honest though, Aesha probably won't care. She has pretty thick-skin. She doesn't like affection because she's not used to it, but she secretly yearns for it.

Originated From: India
Backstory: When Aesha was born, her parents were devastated because she was female and they wanted an heir to the throne. So basically she was cast aside and mainly taken care of by the workers of the castle. Around this time she was betrothed to Smith, a year old English baby. When she was three, her little sister, Lakya, was born. Once again her parents were upset and Aesha's sister was cast aside. It was around this time little Aesha swore to take care of Lakya and give her love because their parents wouldn't. When she was five, her brother, Balavan, was born. Her parents rejoiced, threw a party, celebrated. For about a year the usually empty castle was basically one big party. While Aesha was originally happy, her brother was immediately given all the love from her parents, something the five year old or Lakya had never gotten.
When Balavan was thirteen, he declared that he didn't want the throne. Which, well, didn't go well with their parents. By this time; Aesha was eighteen and not in the best state. She was basically Lakya's mother, and had been verbally abused by her parents for her entire life. So she wasn't eating much, to stay skinny and "pretty". Everyone and everything remained on shaky terms for about a year and when Balavan was fourteen and still didn't want the throne, he was kicked out of the kingdom. Disowned and cast away to a different kingdom somewhere. This meant Aesha would finally get her wish and take the Indian throne, as long as she did everything her parents said. Lakya didn't like this arrangement because she didn't want her brother living alone. She moved with him, devastating Aesha.
Aesha eventually lost touch with both of her siblings and currently resides in India with her parents.
Other: This is my other baby (Alai)'s mother in her younger years.
