How does she meet Joel?: being stuck under some rubble Joel was minding his own business and spot her. Getting her out he leaves her but soon goes "*sigh* come on kiddo, you can come with me"

How was she infected?: Haley got bit on the shoulder while trying to escape the city with her mother.

Haley sniffles gently "m-mama..." she crawled over to her. Her mother was bitten, "Honey..." her mother reached over. she was weak, "we haft to go mama..." Haley started to shed a few tears. "No...you need to go.." her mother said gently. "I-I'm bit too...w-we can stay together until we..." Haley trailed off "if that makes you happy honey..." her mother soon did turn, Haley had to put her down. Until this day Haley waited for her turn, but it never came...

Other: around Christmas Joel finds a dog (one of those big fluffy ones they put on tv with the barrel on his collar. Can't remember the breed) he calls him Sumo Because of the collar he had. He has a light brown spot around his eye and back and has a nice white coat too.
