Personality: Kairi as a child was very timid, she was left alone most of the time which didn't help her feel strong, she felt very lonely. She is very independent and smart because of her lack of family around her growing up to tell her what to do. This nature made her a target for bullying, she never wanted to fight back so she endured it all. After learning self defence, she became more confident in herself. She came out of her shell showing that she was kind-hearted and wanted to protect the people she cared about.

She is very loyal, observant and doesn't like to fight without a reason, she refuses to get into fights unless it's to protect, but she will go against her wishes if needed. She will never use violence from anything but protecting herself or her friends/loved ones. She is very supportive and likes to think everyone deserves a second chance, unless they have proven that they don't deserve one. She takes the words of the people she is close with very seriously, she will believe them without question most of the time. She can be playful and cheeky with her close friends and people she feels comfortable with, it's rare for her to show that side so if you see it she trusts you a lot. Her adult self she is like her teen self but a little more mature.

In the alternate timeline, Kairi is quiet and very closed off, she keeps to herself and its rare for her to show any emotion on her face. Skills/Abilities:

Martial arts - Like Mikey, Kairi has martial arts experience that she learnt when she was a young child. Unlike Mikey who uses his legs, Kairi uses her hands and sometimes her feet, but mostly hands, since she hates hurting people. She can throw people to the floor, stop them from attacking her, disarm them and knock them out if needed. This helps with her lack of muscle, she has always been underestimated by people giving her an advantage, since they let their guard down.

Endurance - Since she was a child she had suffered from bullying, she didn't like to fight back so she was kicked and punched a lot of the time. She has even been punched by older boys and hasn't been knocked out by them. After learning martial arts she still wasn't a huge fan for fighting back. She had been attacked with weapons a lot. She has a hard head which makes it harder to be knocked out after just one hit, which was shown when Hanma hit her over the head in the black dragon arc and she got up after a few seconds.

Extremely good hearing - Kairi was born with good hearing, meaning she can hear if someone is behind her. It's like she has an eye behind her head since she always seems to know when someone is behind her. She usually throws people to the floor even without turning around. This also goes for if they have a weapon, she is able to grab it and send the person with the weapon flying.

Fast reflexes/Speed - Thanks to her martial arts training, her good hearing and fighting a lot with her brother, Kairi can react fast against people coming after her. She can also dodge and get out of the way of a group of people coming after her.

Backstory: Kairi's mother died of childbirth leaving her and her father who, not knowing how to look after a girl, treated and raised Kairi like a boy for the most part. Being a single father was hard since he had to work long hours, leaving the girl to look after herself and do everything alone from a young age. Kairi was either alone growing up or with babysitters who never seemed to care for her since she was too independent and didn't need their help.

She used to get bullied because she was a girl who was interested in what boys liked and dressed like one. They used to call her a boy and they would push her about and hurt her physically, saying if she wanted to be a boy they would treat her like one. She never fought back not liking to hurt people, her father noticed that and paid for her to take martial arts and self defence classes to protect herself. Those classes were in Dojo Sano where she met the Sano's and Keisuke Baji. Soon after she met Senju Akashi (Kawaragi) and Haruchiyo Akashi (Sanzu) thanks to Baji and Mikey. She was there when Mikey first acted on his dark impulses, but out of fear she blocked out most of what happened.

After she got better at martial arts she felt more confident in herself. One day when one of her only friends at school was getting bullied, she protected them using self defence. She thought she was going to be called cool like how people called Mikey cool, but instead the one that was getting bullied, went to the boy that Kairi had just protected her from. The girls called Kairi a monster for hurting the boy, Kairi then lost everyone and again started to get bullied, which had once stopped. She moved schools, to Baji's, and completely stopped protecting herself out of fear of being rejected. Not knowing that would only cause her more pain. She continued the dojo lessons because her fathers was paying for them, she didn't have the courage to tell him that she wanted to quit and waste his hard earned money.

Thanks to her past experience, Kairi gets along with boys more than girls since she feels more comfortable around them, Senju, Emma and later Hina and Yuzuha, are exceptions. Emma taught her how to be more girly and to act more like her gender, even if they wouldn't always agree especially with clothes, but she sadly didn't see Senju that much anymore since their interests weren't the same. Baji and Mikey saw that she stopped protecting herself making Baji start to protect her more and Mikey slightly distancing himself from her. Kairi then met Ken Ryuguji (Draken) when she was in fourth grade, when he spent time with Mikey and Baji.

When she was 11, a month before Mikey's birthday, she was walking home when a small gang of junior high schoolers started to surround her since she was seen around Baji and Mikey a lot of the time. Kairi, who hated fighting tried to stop the fight with words, this didn't work and she started to get beat up to send a message to Mikey to not mess with them. Baji and Kazutora who were walking to meet the founding members witnessed this. Baji started to protect Kairi but got hurt pretty bad in the process. Kairi watching Baji get hurt made something in her snap, she for the first time in years used martial arts knocking the leader of the small group down. He was knocked unconscious in one kick, which protected the male who always protected her. Baji stared at her in shock but just as quickly grinned, joining the girl in defeating the others.

Since the gang attacked Baji, Mikey wanted to get payback for his fellow Toman member, by taking the gang down. Kairi had asked Mikey if she could help, since it was her fault that Baji had gotten involved and this gang had definitely made him a target. She wanted to protect him like he protected her. Baji was against it, he didn't want her to get involved and them fighting together was a one time thing. He said that he helped her with his own free will, but he stopped speaking when he saw how serious she was. Mikey had smiled seeing that her stubborn side of not wanting to fight was gone. After asking the other Toman members opinions and making sure she knew what she was getting herself into, which she did. She stated that she didn't want to let herself be pushed around anymore, she wanted to protect herself and the people she cared about, she was accepted and officially joined Toman. After Toman's victory, Kairi dyed her hair pale blue wanting to start over and be a new her.

• Lives in the same apartment complex as Chifuyu and Baji, she lives on the fourth floor.

• Since Kairi is usually home alone, Chifuyu usually comes over to her apartment to keep her company. He gets breakfast, lunch or dinner as a bonus as well as seeing her. Kairi usually cooks for them both, Chifuyu loves Kairi's cooking.

• Kairi was the first non founding member to join Toman, she joined a month after their founding, but she is seen as one of the founding members by the Toman members. When none of the Toman founding members were present, during the time Emma passed, with Chifuyu and Takemichi she had stepped up and got everyone's attention. Before that and Chifuyu picking up Takemichi at the hospital, Inui had told them what happened, she has frozen in shock. Emma was dead? She couldn't believe it. She was too shocked to even function and Chifuyu noticed that, he had taken her away from everyone towards the bikes. Everyone watched her leave, they didn't understand why at that moment but they soon would find out and they would understand why. Kairi was usually with Emma when she visited them at the meetings, so they knew they were close.

Chifuyu, at the bikes, snapped Kairi out of her daze by saying that she shouldn't fight, angering the emotional Kairi. She had snapped at him saying that she was fighting, she was getting revenge for Emma and he couldn't stop her. He told her that she wasn't thinking straight and getting revenge wasn't what Emma would of wanted, Kairi knowing that looked away. Chifuyu told her to get on her own bike and take a few minutes to calm down. He didn't expect her to come back.

She arrived just when they declared that Emma had passed away and everyone had started to leave. She walked towards the front getting everyone attention as they moved to the side to let her pass. She had walked up the stairs and turned around, she then declared that she trusted Takemichi and appointed him the temporary leader in Mikeys and the others absences. Takemichi was a person who would never back down. She had decided to follow him even if it risked her life, because he would never betray them. With him she was sure that even if they had zero to no chance of winning that they would go down as Toman and not people who don't even try to fight. Her little speech didn't sway everyone, since they didn't feel comfortable that Mikey wasn't with them. She had said to Takemichi and Chifuyu that she wanted to join the double suicide, she wanted to fight for Emma and Toman. Akkun and everyone agreeing with them and Chifuyu backing Kairi got everyone on their side.

• In Highschool, Kairi decided to get a part time job at a convenience store. During the final arc, she resigns wanting to help Chifuyu and Takemichi save Mikey.

• In Highschool, Kairi let her hair go back to being black but she still had the ends of her hair pale blue. In the final arc, Kairi dyed her hair back to pale blue when she joined the gang once again.

• During the Christmas showdown when Hanma and Kisaki tied up Chifuyu, Hanma had hit Kairi over the head with a wooden bat knocking her out with enough time to catch Chifuyu off guard. She fought against Hanma with a injured Chifuyu but she was unable to do hardly anything before being tied up and gagged.

• Kairi put a notebook for her time capsule item. Before Toman disbanded Kairi had started to write about the times she had with Toman, Emma and Baji in a notebook so she wouldn't forget the times she had with them. Thanks to that she decided she wanted to continue writing since it also helped her clear her thoughts. She put that with a letter than said:

'To the future me,

How are you? Are you still with everyone? Of course you are you can't live without them. I'm sure you and Chifuyu are happy together, if it's the time I'm thinking hopefully our child is born safely. While writing this there is no point in thinking about it but... hopefully the name Keiko still feels right. Kei for Keisuke after all, hopefully Chifuyu agreed to that. Does it still hurt to think about Keisuke and the others who died? Since we are the same person I'm sure it does. You aren't alone with feeling that, Chifuyu and probably Kazutora if he is with you both feel the same. Forgive him if you haven't, knowing us I'm sure you have but just in case. He will be suffering just as much as you both will be. Whatever you decided to do in the future I'm sure that you have followed what you believe is right. You know this but family is important, even if Toman has disbanded everyone will always be your family. Family is still family even if it's not blood."

• Like Chifuyu, Kairi remembered the other timelines. She like Chifuyu was close to Takemichi so she got this feeling that she knew him especially when she met him as a child.

• In Highschool when she wasn't working, studying, spending time with Chifuyu/friends or, in the final arc, fighting to save Mikey, she wrote stories. She at first started to clear her head and remember the good times but soon decided she wanted to make stories especially when Chifuyu started to whine that he had to wait for a new manga volume to come out. She had ideas so she wanted to make a story for him. She tried to make a mini manga about Peke and was successful. She preferred to write more than draw so that's what she started to do. She found a passion for writing after making the manga, she wanted to do something that didn't involve herself fighting. Chifuyu kept the manga she made, he treasures it. During the final arc, she decided to take a short break to help Chifuyu/Takemichi save Mikey.

• For Chifuyu's 16th birthday, Kairi got him a couples necklace, with her first pay check from working at a convenience store part time. It was two cats a black and a white one, Chifuyu could tell how embarrassed Kairi was but he truly loved it. He said the black side reminded him of Peke. Chifuyu said he wanted to put the white cat on her, she couldn't get a word in since his eyes were shining and he insisted. She finally let him then he asked her to put his on, which she did. He then started to brag to the others about his new necklace making Kairi very embarrassed, since she got playfully teased by the others while Hinata thought it was adorable.

• Kairi owns a motorcycle, she had found it abandoned after she had ran under shelter, near a junkyard, when it was pouring with rain. She had called Baji to come and help her with it. He helped her get the parts she needed and fixed it up. Her motorcycle is a Suzuki GSX-250R.

• Kairi heard Takemichi and Chifuyu talking about the future in the middle of the street, right after Kisaki and Hanma said they would wait for their answer to team up, and it was like he knew what was going to happen. (Episode 29/Season 2 episode 5) She had been at the meeting since she was an important part of Toman and her opinion also mattered. She didn't want to go home to an empty house so she just walked around when she came across them. She had walked towards them and questioned what they were talking about, what about the future? they both tried to change the subject but she went serious. She had said how did Kisaki kill Baji and Hinata? Why would you say something like that about a person even if it is Kisaki? This made Takemichi have to tell her about his powers and the future, even the part about her being killed and being married to Chifuyu. Chifuyu didn't think this was the time and it wasn't needed, but Takemichi said it was important to tell her everything so she believed them.

She at first didn't believe them but Chifuyu said it was true and he believed what Takemichi said, making her look surprised. Kairi knew the boy didn't believe things like that without a reason, she then sighed. She believed that Chifuyu wouldn't lie to her but this did sound far fetched. She thought about it, she looked at Chifuyu and grinned saying aww you missed me when I died making him get embarrassed and say this wasn't the time for jokes. Her cheeks were red when she said it, her heart felt really warm for some reason. She then went serious and looked up at the sky, she told them she had been thinking of talking to Mikey about leaving Toman. This made Takemichi freeze, so she was going to leave Toman but she probably wasn't able to in the other time loop. She didn't want to see anyone else die, she had lost her will to fight since Toman had changed from the place she felt at home in. She then looked at them with a determined facial expression and said she now wanted to help them save everyone, she wanted to protect the people she cared about like Baji protected her. They welcomed her with open arms. She had gently pat Chifuyu's back saying that he was spending time with her on Christmas, and he was lucky to do that. She was only joking but it made Chifuyu feel happier about the situation.

• Takemichi never met Kairi in the original timeline, she had first appeared on episode 5 of the anime, she was standing close to Emma who was asked to look after Hinata by Draken. She first spoke to Takemichi on episode 17 when the girl had noticed Chifuyu. She had playfully said that he had some nerve to leave school without telling her, her attitude immediately changed when she saw he wasn't alone. She had introduced herself to Takemichi after she had said "oh the boy who nearly cheated on his girlfriend" making Chifuyu raise a brow. Takemichi had freaked out not knowing how she knew that, he then remembered he had seen her with Emma when he first met her. Takemichi then asked if she was Chifuyu's girlfriend since they looked really close. Kairi immediately said no and said since she was stronger than him she wanted to make sure he was safe. Chifuyu had responded that she wasn't stronger than him but Takemichi didn't listen already questioning both of their relationship.

• In the first alternate timeline, when Takemichi was a admin in Toman. He had asked Chifuyu where Kairi was, the boys eyes had showed shock, anger then sadness. He had said that this was not the time to joke around and that Kairi had been killed a month ago. Before that she managed to get Chifuyu some evidence that sadly was enough for her to be seen as a threat since she was getting too close, not knowing she managed to get something, and killed. It was on October 11th, her birthday. Takemichi was shocked and felt like he had failed which increased after the death of Chifuyu, the boy had heard the male mumble I'm coming Kairi as he was shot by Kisaki.

Relationships:

Chifuyu Matsuno: Kairi met Chifuyu one day when she was 10, she had seen a couple of older boys attacking a cat. She managed to protect the cat but got beat up in the process, if it wasn't for Chifuyu, she would of been badly beaten. He had been looking for said cat, who was called Peke J, who's former name was Excalibur, when he saw Kairi protecting him. He saved her and thanked her for protecting Peke J, even if he did call her stupid since she could of got seriously hurt. She had smiled and said she didn't like to see anyone getting hurt, no one deserved to get hurt. Chifuyu was shocked and again called her an idiot, making her frown but smile after anyway. They became very close friends after that day but she didn't spend time with him at school at the start, she found out they went to the same one, since he kept saying he didn't want her to get involved with gangs. She would tease him saying that him worrying about her was cute and he would get annoyed at her. When she joined Toman she decided to talk to him during school, but when he noticed she seemed different, especially with her hair colour, he spoke normally to her.

She would steal some of Chifuyu's half of the Yakisoba as the male would try to stop her, even if he couldn't. Baji would always laugh and offer her some of his half, which she declined. She commented that it was fun to take Chifuyu's half, and his food always tasted better. After Baji's death Chifuyu would give her some of his Yakisoba without her stealing it, she would still try to sometimes for the memories. She had stopped eating Yakisoba after the promise to steal Chifuyu's half, because it was too hard for her. Chifuyu forced her to eat some as she cried while doing so.

When Chifuyu got beaten up by Baji to show that he had the resolve to join Valhalla, Chifuyu was spotted by Kairi who freaked out and ran to him. She patched him up and was in disbelief when she found out who did this to him. He had said he believed that Baji had a reason to do this, even if she believed what Chifuyu said, she couldn't help but get upset. She told him he was an idiot for taking that making the boy grin, she sighed but smiled relived that he seemed okay.

During the Christmas showdown in the church, she was hit over the head with a wooden bat by Hanma. Chifuyu was shocked when she suddenly stopped speaking and fell to the floor, before he could do anything he was surprise attacked by Hanma. While fighting him he tried to always protect Kairi who woke up and tried to help him, but since the boy was injured and so was she, they lost. After being tied up and gagged Hanma and Kisaki left them. Kairi had kept going in and out of consciousness from the hit and he was frustrated he couldn't do anything for her. He was extremely worried about her and kept fighting her on the way to the church to go to the hospital, with Mitsuya agreeing with Chifuyu, but she kept saying she was fine and didn't need to. She wanted to protect the people who were close to her and her friends. She at least allowed Chifuyu to check her head and wrap it with a bandage, that he had brought since he didn't trust Kisaki and Hanma and knew they may get into a fight.

When Inui had told them what happened to Emma, after she was killed by Kisaki, Kairi had frozen in shock. Emma was dead? She couldn't believe it. She was too shocked to even function and Chifuyu noticed, he had taken her away from everyone towards the bikes. Chifuyu snapped Kairi out of her daze by saying that she shouldn't fight, angering the emotional Kairi. She had snapped at him saying that she was fighting, she was getting revenge for Emma and he couldn't stop her. He told her that she wasn't thinking straight and getting revenge wasn't what Emma would of wanted, Kairi knowing that looked away. Chifuyu told her to get on her own bike and take a few minutes to calm down, which she did.

After the Tenjiku fight and everyone went home, Chifuyu had taken Kairi to his house and made her sit on his bed. After the adrenaline of the fight left her body, Kairi really didn't know how to feel. She had tried to clear her mind on her motorbike so she could think straight. She had temporarily succeeded but now that the fight was over and the death had fully sank in, she felt tired and empty. Chifuyu had wrapped his arms around her and brought her close to him into a hug. Losing Baji hurt him but he had only lost Baji, she had lost the person who was like a brother to her and now someone who was like a sister to her. He knew he couldn't help her feel better but he had told her that he was there for her, that she could talk to him if she needed someone to talk to. Kairi, who is well known for hiding her deep emotions, had actually started to sob close to Chifuyu who kept her close to him. After she calmed down she felt like she could show her deepest emotions to him. She without thinking confessed that she loved him, that he was very important to her. The knowledge of the future, where they are together, only made her feel that she wanted that future more even if it was a bad one. He had reciprocated those feelings and sealed their relationship with their first kiss with each other.

For Chifuyu's 15th birthday, Kairi got him a couples necklace, with her first pay check from working at a convenience store part time. During High school when Draken got killed, Kairi visited the hospital with Chifuyu to see Takemichi. This was after she went to Drakens funeral, she couldn't get her words out of her mouth. Even so she gently placed her hand on Chifuyu's back, while they payed their respects, to give him some kind of comfort. Even if she couldn't speak without a sob coming out of her mouth, she wanted to be there for her lover. She wasn't that close to Draken like Mitsuya was, but it still hurt deeply, he was like a brother to her. Right after the funeral, Chifuyu noticed that Kairi had disappeared. He searched for her and finally found her at Baji's grave. He started to walk towards her but heard her talking to herself, so he decided to listen. He frowned when he heard she didn't know what she would do without Chifuyu, and decided to go towards her. She couldn't stop herself from crying when Chifuyu came into her vision, instead she had cried more as Chifuyu bent down and pulled her into a tight hug. She gripped onto the back of his shirt and just sobbed into his chest, he kept her close as he also cried with her. Afterwards the two both sat next to Baji's grave and relaxed for a short amount of time, needing each others company.

While Chifuyu shouted at Takemichi, Kairi stayed quiet as she looked down at the floor. She didn't know what to say to Takemichi, she wished in her mind that he had never came back since now the future was going to change. The anxiety of not knowing what was going to happen in the future, made her unable to say anything or stop Chifuyu from letting his frustration out on Takemichi. She had started to cry quietly when she saw Chifuyu was crying, it didn't help she was already emotional so seeing the person she loved like that, made her not able to hide her tears.

When Takemichi and Chifuyu came and explained that they wanted to make a new gang to save Mikey, in the final arc, she at first looked pretty conflicted. She wanted to help them but she didn't want to lose anyone else. She then thought if she was there she would be able to make sure the people she deeply cares about, are safe. Which she knew they would be, they are strong and smart. She agreed to help them as she smiled, she resigned from the convenience store then joined them. When Chifuyu showed her their uniform, she gave him a look of disgust. She had said yes she loved Peke but she refused to wear something like this. She soon gave in but she put a hoodie over the shirt refusing to be seen dead in the shirt.

In the first alternate timeline Kairi helped Chifuyu to try and bring Toman back to the way it was before, they were married and worked together. A month before Chifuyu was killed by Kisaki, the said man killed Kairi by shooting her. Out of grief Chifuyu after losing his wife and to make it worse, future child, he continued what they both started which sadly got him killed. Before he died he mumbled I'm coming Kairi, then he was shot. In the old peaceful present Kairi and Chifuyu were happily married and was expecting their first child.

In the final loop after remembering pieces of the other loops, when she saw him again when she noticed Peke and saved. She noticed immediately that he didn't remember and was heartbroken. She started to get to know him more like in the other loops until one day he walked towards her and hugged her tightly. She didn't understand why until he started to cry and say that he was glad that Baji and everyone was alive and well. Immediately her shocked expression turned into a bittersweet expression, since he had to remember the bad times, as she gripped onto his shirt and mumbled that she loved him and missed him. Them being the only ones that remembered, apart from Mikey and Takemichi, brought them even closer than they already were.

Keisuke Baji: Kairi thinks of Baji as an older brother, he also saw her as a younger sister before his death, they used to call each other by their first names. They pretty much grew up together. Baji had always gone out of his way to protect her whenever he got the chance, which is shown when he got himself into a gang fight to protect her. He would spend time with her sometimes but even more when Chifuyu joined their little group. Chifuyu at first thought that her and Baji were in a relationship since she called him by his first name, but soon found out that they had a sibling relationship, he didn't understand for a while why he was relieved to hear that.

Kairi used to help him with studying before Chifuyu, she would sometimes get annoyed when he forgot how to spell something after just learning it. Even so she didn't stop helping  him and it got easier when Chifuyu started to help as well. Kairi saw Baji's mother like the mother she never met so she also didn't want to see the woman cry. She continuously visited the woman even after Baji's death, she knew the woman was strong but Kairi could tell that she truly missed her son.

Baji could see how much Chifuyu liked Kairi and would tease the boy, Baji would also tease Kairi knowing that she also liked Chifuyu deep down. Baji entrusted Kairi's safety to Chifuyu and asked him to keep her happy. When he stabbed himself Kairi looked at him with shock and disbelief. She gets nightmares of him stabbing himself and only tells Chifuyu about her nightmares. He told Kairi to keep smiling and stay strong, she should keep following what she believed in and never change. He wished them both a happy future before he passed. Kairi took Baji's words to heart and continued to do what she believed in.

When he died Kairi started to cry quietly, tears streamed down her face and a quiet sob came out of her mouth, she felt like she could hardly breath. She had just lost her brother figure and the person who used to be there for her, she didn't know how to feel. She with Chifuyu visited his grave, like usual when he was alive told the male she stole some of Chifuyu's half of the food. She cried while smiling like he wanted, she was going to live like Baji wanted her to, happy.

She had visited him after Drakens funeral, even thought she knew he couldn't answer her, she felt comfort in being around his grave. She had leaned against the back of the grave as the tears she was holding back streamed down her face. Kairi started to talk about anything not caring what she was saying apart from: "I don't know what I would be like if I didn't have Chifuyu, what would you do in this situation Keisuke? Would you be strong?" She just wanted to clear her mind and being at the grave seemed to help her get her stress and pain out.

In the final loop after remembering pieces of the other loops, she dedicated herself to spending more time with Baji. She was overjoyed to finally grow up as adults with him. He never understood why she became more clingy to him since as children she would spent most her time with Emma than him.

Senju Akashi (Kawaragi): Kairi and Senju were close when they were kids, they used to play together a lot. Sadly after what happened to Haruchiyo and her stopping protecting herself, they stopped speaking. They just didn't have a lot in common and slowly drifted away from each other. Meeting Senju again at the Toman meeting shocked Kairi, they then reconnected and became friends once again. Kairi became the Vice-Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang Second Gen, Fifth Division under Senju.

Manjiro Sano (Mikey): Kairi respects Mikey and trusts him fully. She trusts him to have her back if anything bad happens. She feels at ease when he is around knowing that everything is going to be okay. The time that he killed her in an alternate timeline, by beating her to death, she had told the male while smiling that Takemichi will save him. She is grateful for him for letting her join Toman, even if she was a girl, since she met all of the people she considers as family. She truly wishes for him and everyone else to be happy. In the final loop she was happy that he was finally free and could live happily, but she never mentioned that she remembered pieces of the other loops.

Ken Ryuguji (Draken): Kairi thought of Draken as like an older brother, she admired him for being so strong especially after Emma's death. She had truly supported him and felt bad that she had not told Emma that Draken also loved her. Like with Mikey she felt at ease when he was around. When he was stabbed and survived she was relived, it was like a weight was lifted from her chest, she had cried a little from the relief.

When she found out he died she was shocked, she had again lost someone she cared about. She really didn't know how to feel anymore, she felt numb even if tears did form in her eyes, until the funeral. Takemichi who had told Kairi and Chifuyu how everyone was happy in the future made his passing hurt more, Draken had lost that chance of a future, but now he was with Emma. He was the reason that she got her hand tattoo, he had taken her to where he got his done after she looked interested in getting one. It was thanks to him that she had the tattoo so it reminded her of him. When she found out he was deceased the tattoo was a happy memory of him, but it hurt to look at it for a short while.

In the final loop after remembering pieces of the other loops, she was happy to see that he was alive and that he and Emma could finally live happily like they wanted.

Emma Sano: Kairi and Emma used to be VERY close before her death. They used to always spend time together even before Kairi joined Toman. Emma was the one that taught her how to act more like a girl, even if they would argue over a lot of things they would always laugh afterwards. Even if Emma could protect herself Kairi wanted to protect her as much as possible. When Kairi heard about Emma's death she didn't know how to react, how did someone as strong as her die? She felt lost for a few seconds until Chifuyu snapped her out of it. When everyone was saying they didn't want to fight Tenjiku without Mikey, she with Chifuyu said to Takemichi that she would join the double suicide, making it a triple, since she wanted to fight to get justice for Emma's death. 

In the final loop after remembering pieces of the other loops, she like with Baji spent more time with him. Seeing her as a adult made her extremely happy, especially when Emma looked so happy to find out that Kairi was pregnant when they are adults. She wanted to be there with her, if Emma was pregnant she wanted them to do all the shopping for their children together which Kairi happily agreed to do.

Takemichi Hanagaki: Kairi first met Takemichi when Draken asked Emma to watch Hinata at the Toman meeting, Kairi wanted to make sure that Emma was safe so she was standing close to Emma. When she heard what Takemichi did to Emma she had raised her brow but she didn't want to get involved. When she first spoke to Takemichi was when he was with Chifuyu. She introduced herself to him after saying "oh the boy who nearly cheated on his girlfriend" making Chifuyu raise a brow. They soon became friends but Kairi fully became friends with him when he showed how much he cared for Baji, who he has just met.

When she overheard that he could time travel she decided she wanted to help him and Chifuyu with saving everyone in Toman and Hina. She feels like she can trust Takemichi and can trust what he says after she sees that he doesn't give up and truly cares about everyone in Toman. She trusts him enough to know that if something bad happens in the future he will bring her back.

During High school when Draken got killed, Kairi visited the hospital with Chifuyu to see Takemichi. While Chifuyu shouted at Takemichi, Kairi stayed quiet as she stayed looking down at the floor. She didn't know what to say to Takemichi, she wished in her mind that he had never came back. She couldn't look at him, she couldn't even speak to him, she still needed to get her emotions in check. She didn't want to shout at Takemichi and say something she will immediately regret.

When Takemichi and Chifuyu came and explained that they wanted to make a new gang to save Mikey, in the final arc, she at first looked pretty conflicted. She wanted to help them but she didn't want to lose anyone else. She then thought if she was there she would be able to make sure the people she deeply cares about, are safe. Which she knew they would be, they are strong and smart. She agreed to help them as she resigned from the convenience store then joined them. She had apologised to Takemichi, she told him that the reason she acted like she did was because of Draken, but he stopped her. With a smile he said she was emotional after losing a friend and she didn't need to apologise. Kairi was surprised but smiled and nodded, as she thanked him for understanding.

Before the final loop when Takemichi died she was heartbroken, like with Chifuyu she was close to him so she couldn't help herself from crying a lot. In the final loop after remembering pieces of the other loops, she started to tear up when she saw him alive as a child. She had told him that she remembered pieces of the other loops, which shocked the male. When they were adults she told him that she was glad that he and Mikey managed to save everyone, She was very grateful to him for keeping her brother figure and sister figure alive so they could live happily with them. She had dreamt of this moment in the old loops and it had finally came true.

Hinata Tachibana: Kairi first met Hina when Emma was protecting her, she saw them and decided to help to protect Hina. After that day she spent time with her and Emma, then became close friends with her. After Emma's death both her and Hina got closer and would spend time together whenever they could. She found the couples necklace Kairi got Chifuyu was adorable, which made her even more embarrassed. By the time they are adults they are extremely close. The girl already excited for Kairi's baby even if she wasn't the mother.

Takashi Mitsuya: Kairi first met Mitsuya after Baji saved her and her brother, she liked his ideology with it came to fighting. He told her that her respected her thought process with wanting to protect the people she cares about. Since that day she has gone to him for advice, he trusted her with his younger siblings who she sometimes looks after. He taught her how to sew and she sometimes helps him out.

She sees most of the Toman boys as brothers but after Baji died Mitsuya was there for her like Chifuyu was. She started to believe she could confide in him and talk to him. She felt like she could trust him, especially since he was a very good listener. Kairi could tell he actually cared. Mitsuya treated her like a younger sister and showed that he cared for her, like she cared for him, even if it was hard, which he understood and was patient.

She got angry when Inui hit him over the head with the bat, she was very worried for the male and was worried that he would get a concussion which he thankfully didn't. Before that he was worried about her after find them tied up, Chifuyu told him that Hanma had hit her over the head with a bat and she kept going in and out of consciousness. He told her to go to the hospital and let them deal with this after gently shaking her awake, but she refused after she lost her footing and fell into him after getting on her feet. He and Chifuyu was extremely worried about her. Chifuyu kept fighting her on the way to the church to go to the hospital, with Mitsuya agreeing with Chifuyu, but she kept saying she was fine and didn't need to. She wanted to protect the people who were close to her and her friends, this made Mitsuya respect her more and acknowledge her determination but asked her to be careful which she agreed.

After Drakens funeral and everyone started to leave, she had stood next to him. He had noticed her but didn't say anything not able to speak, she just stayed close to him for support and company. Mitsuya even if he was emotional was very thankful to Kairi as he gave her a very weak smile and whispered a thank you. He could see the tears in her eyes and knowing that she was trying to support him even when she was in pain, made his heart warm ever so slightly.

Yuzuha Shiba: Kairi truly respects Yuzuha from the moment she found out she had been protecting Hakkai from Taiju. She had only just met her but just from finding that out she wanted to get to know, someone stronger willed like her, more. They got along quickly especially after they spoke about losing their mothers at a young age. Even if it wasn't the same situation they understood it was hard living without one. Yuzuha told her that she respected her also for not backing down and giving up on trying to save Hakkai, like Chifuyu, Mitsuya and Takemichi, especially with a head wound.

Kazutora Hanemiya: Kairi feels no ill will towards Kazutora. She didn't speak to him a lot but Baji seemed to trust him and didn't think any bad of him, so she didn't blame him for the males death. When Chifuyu helped him as an adult she welcomed Kazutora like what happened with Baji never happened, even if it did. She, as a adult, started to see him as an older brother, while as a teen just a friend when she visited him, but it took a while for her to fully trust that he had changed. She trusts the male when they are adults but as very young teens she had a hard time approaching him.

She had visited him a couple of times during the 12 years he was in prison, he didn't understand why she kept visiting especially since they hardly spoke, and he was the reason Baji was dead. She had said that Baji had decided to end his own life, it wasn't his fault, they both knew how Baji was like. She said that it will take a while but she forgives him even if it wasn't fully at that moment, at her first visit. Tears had streamed down his face as he couldn't believe that someone else who was so close to Baji, forgave him.

The other visits she told him about Toman, on the peaceful timeline, in the alternate timeline she never visited him. She told him that Toman had disbanded as well as the sad information about Emma dying. The other times she visited him in the peaceful timeline was just talking about life, she had been forced Chifuyu to visit a couple of times.

On the final arc she had went to see him after Drakens death, she knowing about the future with Tora because of Takemichi, felt like she wanted to see the male. He was surprised to see her and was shocked and saddened to hear that Draken had recently died. Even Tora could tell that Kairi wasn't feeling well, he had asked if she was doing okay and got a pained laugh. She then said she would be, she just really wanted to see him, shocking Tora since he didn't know about the future. He questioned didn't you like Chifuyu making her blink then laugh, saying she wanted to see him as a friend not like Chifuyu who was her boyfriend, that making Tora blush from embarrassment. She thanked him for helping her feel better and she would visit again, he had smiled and nodded. She was glad that he didn't go to prison in the final loop so they could become closer friends.

Ryusei Satou: Kairi and Ryusei weren't that close but she respected his strength. She along with Baji had went to save him and Chifuyu when Ryusei went missing. She was shocked to hear that he saw them as enemies, that he betrayed Toman. Especially after all the times they would play soccer on the roof and her watching him play bully Chifuyu and laugh about it.
