Background: Miu and her older twin brother Ryuji originally came from a household with an abusive father, which caused her, him and their mom to move away. Miu was in the volleyball club until Suguru Kamoshida broke her arm while training, he called her useless and kicked her off the team. Miu disappeared from a few hours after what Kamoshida did which made Ryuji worry since he is overprotective of his sister. Yuuki Mishima found her in a alleyway crying while holding her broken arm, he helped her up and took her to the hospital after trying his best to calm her down. When Ryuji made it to the hospital Miu told him it was because she fell on it but he knew she was lying. After that day she has been terrified of Kamoshida even if she doesn't show it but got over it after finding the courage in the palace.

• Has anxiety so is prone to having panic attacks when she is alone not wanting people to see her weak side.

• She isn't very good with crowds when she is alone, if she is with someone she is fine that's the same with talking to people that's why she comes off as friendly but in reality she is very anxious if she is alone.

• Miu is a person who loves to hug to show affection. She would hug anyone who she sees as a friend without thinking about their feelings. She has no ill intentions she just wants to hug people to make them feel better or she just hugs them out of happiness. Ryuji always tells her off for that but she just puffs out her cheeks and ignores him most of the time.

• Miu was with Ryuji the day he met Akira/Ren so she also went into the palace, she was put in a cell next door to the boys where she heard everything happen. She was shocked when she saw Akira/Ren summon his persona when Morgana also summoned his.

• After the whole Kamoshida breaking her arm incident Miu started to learn self defence and after a year (when the main story starts) she is really good at it.

• Miu got her persona after she found the courage to stand up to Kamoshida and she wasn't afraid of him anymore. She got her persona after Ryuji but before Ann. She was taken away from the group while Morgana was teaching them the basics and was used as a hostage to stop them from being able to fight, back until Ryuji got his persona. She was encouraged to not be scared of Kamoshida anymore and summoned her persona.

• In Royal during the third semester where everyones memories were changed Miu had joined the volleyball club again after her arm had completely healed. She was their ace until Shiho Suzui joined the team and she was replaced but she didn't mind at all she was happy the girl was back at Shujin and helping them.
• In the happy ending Miu was seen cheering on her twin brother who was doing track and field again, in another picture herself and Yuuki Mishima look really happy together while they are at the beach eating watermelon together. She is also seen happily playing volleyball with Shiho Suzui in the Shujin girls volleyball team.
• In the true ending Miu was determined to get back into volleyball so she was going to join the Shujin (or another school) team and work from the beginning in all different positions after she makes sure that her arm was 100% fine. She also wants to help her mother and twin by getting a volleyball scholarship.
