• Kinako always cooks for the family with Nanako.

• Used to do cheerleading but stopped when she joined high school.

• Went into the tv world at the start with Yosuke, Chie and the protagonist, she was trying to pull him out of the tv when he put his head in it. She got her persona after Yosuke got his. She was separated from the others and walked into a building, when she walked in she was at her own house. She immediately heard her fathers voice telling her to do this and that. She then heard her shadow who complained about her being left to do everything and never having any free time. Her shadow said that she wanted to be free and not have to do anything for her family which made Kinako say that she wanted to do everything, she wanted to be helpful. They started to argue as Yu and Yosuke came in. The shadow had hurt Kinako so much she refused to accept that this was her true feelings, the feelings she was hiding deep inside.

• Loves her family deeply. When Nanako died for a while she was soo shocked that she couldn't cry until her cousin Yu snapped her out of her daze when they made it home. She was hurt deeply when her dad said that Nanako was his everything and without her he didn't have a purpose to live, she was heartbroken but deep inside she knew he was only grieving. Yu could see that what his uncle said deeply hurt Kinako and when Nanako came back alive he told his uncle who looked devastated. He immediately apologised to Kinako who quickly forgave him.

• When Nanako was kidnapped by Taro Namatame Kinako was with Nanako. When Kinako was about to stop Namatame he knocked her out and took Nanako into his truck. Kinako was found by Naoto Shirogane unconscious. When she woke up Kinako didn't remember what exactly happened, she was still in shock, but during the car ride she remembered and told Naoto everything that she remembered.
