Personality: Akira is a soft spoken, optimistic, carefree and easygoing boy who goes with the flow outside of the field. While on the field he is a completely different person. On the pitch Akira is very serious and a tactical person, he is very observant, hardworking and is very determined to get what he has started finished. He believes that when he is around his friends and teammates that he can do anything. He is very loyal and is a guiding light to his teammates since he never losses hope or gives up. They feel like they can rely on him which makes him act strong and he hardly shows any weakness on his face, he thinks he needs to be perfect on the pitch. He nearly always has a smile on his face which shows he believes in his skills and is very confident.

Hissatsu:

Shining Bullet (Shoot) - While in mid-air, the user spins the ball, giving it an effect of looking like a bullet that heads towards the goal.

Shining Spear (Long Shot) - Akira kick the ball into mid-air, While in mid-air, he spins the ball in between his feet to make the ball speed up. A bright aura appears as Akira uses the tip of his boot to sent the ball towards the goal. The ball takes the form of a spear and dives directly to the goal.

Blinding Victory (Long Shot) - Akira kicked the ball up into the air, then jumps after it. He spins the ball around his foot as a white aura surrounds it. He then kicks the ball, putting a lot of pressure on it, towards the goal a blinding light following it.

Light Arrows (Pass/Dribble) - Akira kicks the ball in the air just in front of his body. He then uses his foot to spin the ball around as it gets covers by a bright aura. Akira then proceeds to volley the ball high and far into the opponents half. The light blinds people who try to stop it.

Heavenly Light (Dribble) - The move that got Akira famous. Akira stands with his arms and legs out in a star shape with a peaceful smile on his face. His eyes are closed as colourful lights start to rain down behind him, his opponent gets mesmerised by the bright light and colours that Akira can get past them easily.

Blinding Sunset (Dribble)  - The sunsets behind Akira as everywhere becomes pitch black expect from the ball, while his opponents vision adjusts to the dark Akira runs past them.

Shining Dawn (Dribble) - The sun rises blinding Akira's opponent for a few seconds,  which gives Akira enough time to run past them.

Glittering End (Dribble) - Akira kicks the ball slightly in the air as it explodes into a blinding light which stuns the opponent, or so they thought. That was just a hallucination that their stunned self thought of when the light blinded them. By the time they notice Haruki has already passed them.

Backstory: Akira was born in Italy, his father is a professional soccer player, who met his mother when he was in Italy for a tournament. They fell in love and Akira was conceived soon afterwards. His father was hardly ever home because of his soccer career, Akira's mother hated this and by the time Akira was 4, his parents divorced. After a long struggle with the parents deciding what to do with Akira, they came to an agreement that Akira would stay with the mother during school term and go to his father during the breaks, this continued for few years.

Akira's mother had to work multiple jobs to keep them afloat, which meant Akira was forced to look after himself growing up. He hardly saw his mother and his grandparents were too elderly to look after the small boy all of the time, he was forced to sometimes look after them. He is very close with his grandparents. Suddenly when he was 9, his mother brought home a Japanese man who was one of her clients in the past. 2 years later his younger sister was born.

Akira would go between Japan and Italy so he was used to traveling, but because of him going back and forth he didn't have a lot of friends. He was always out of the circles at school making him feel left out. The only circle he managed to stay in was the soccer circle where he met Fidio Aldena. They played together while growing up, they both became well known together. They both played on the same team, seeing each other as very close friends and rivals.

This continued until Akira was 14 where he suddenly was called back to Japan, by his father. He was placed into Raimon by his father who then left him because of his work. Since Akira went back and forth between Japan and Italy in the past he kept up with the information in Japan. Akira knew of the Raimon and Teikoku match, he honestly was disappointed he missed it by a few days.

Other:

• Transferred to Raimon a few days after the match against Teikoku. He heard the rumours about the soccer club had taken down Teikoku. He had done his research before arriving wanting to know about the soccer of his age group. He went to the soccer club when he arrived and Endou had immediately welcomed him to join even before he asked. The others, the first years mostly, seemed to know who he was, but Endou didn't. When the male was informed he was even more excited for Akira to join Raimon.

• In Ares when Akira came back from Okinawa for Inazuma Japan (Orion) he was very tanned from playing soccer in the sun.

• In the original series when he was asked to join Inazuma Japan, he was also asked to join Orpheus, but he declined and joined Japan. This disappointment Fidio but it was quickly replaced with excitement to play against him.

• While in Okinawa Akira was taught about rhythm and how to use it in soccer by Otomura Gakuya. He then borrowed what he learnt and put it into the way he plays. This made him able to get the ball from people easier.

• In Ares, Akira would take a plane very early in the morning to watch some of the matches in the FF. He would then go back to Okinawa after staying in Tokyo for a short while.
