Personality:
Hiroto is a quiet boy that only speaks when spoken to or if he needs to say something that he thinks is important, until he feels comfortable around you. He was surprising immediately open with Sawamura Eijun who Hiroto said seemed immediately trustworthy. He comes off as cold at first but after he gets to know you he is more open and kind, he sometimes starts to act like a child but it's rare.

He is completely loyal to his team even thought he won't talk to them a lot at first, he knows he has to be a team player and to not be someone who will hold them back, if he stays quiet. He is extremely brave and would immediately offer to practice with anyone even if their pitching is fast, that's how him and Furuya Satoru became close because he wasn't afraid to hit the males pitches if he asks him.

He usually trains more than anyone else which gets him in trouble most of the time, he is determined to always get better for the team. He is hardworking and it always pays off in the end. If they tell him to stop he will slightly puff out his cheeks and stubbornly refuse until he is dragged to his room which is often. He would only listen to the coach if he tells him to stop and rest. He is smart when it comes to baseball but studying is another story he only just passes his tests. When he hears they have a test he hits his on the desk/table, which makes everyone in his class laugh and calls him a baseball freak.

Backstory:
Hiroto's father was a professional baseball player when he was younger. He got injured in an important match so now he is a famous coach for a junior high school in Tokyo. When Hiroto was born he taught him everything about baseball since he could walk. He would practice all day until the sunset and would refuse to come in which resulted him not having friends. By the time he was in junior high he was famous and known as golden boy
by his teammates. The name soon became well known and everyone on the field called him that. He was also well known for always hitting home runs and getting his teammates out of a extremely sticky situation. He was scouted in his first year by Seidou and joined when the main story started.

• Used to use a wooden bat but stopped when he saw that everyone uses the metal one. When he switched he was still used to the wooden so when he hit the ball it went far and hard.

• He joined the First-String with Haruichi and Eijun.

• He is able to play in most positions without hardly any struggle.

• Because of how good he was in junior high, he had so much pressure and responsibilities on his shoulders, that he would carry the team fully on his back. His team would rely on him and never push themselves. They expected him to win and get them points without fail, resulting in them slaking off. They trusted him until one day he overworked himself and was sick on a day of the match, because of that the team lost miserably. The blame was placed on him for being sick and for not being there, because he wasn't there they actually had to try. After that day he was scared to lose and winning because everything to him, he slowly stopped fully looking after himself only thinking of succeeding. This continued until he joined Seido and finally found a team he could trust to have his back, but he first had to lose to know that the team had his back. He found out that it was okay to mess up once in a while since they had his back.

• The first time he bat against Narumiya Mei, was the first time he had lost.

• Because of their experience with their teammates, Hiroto and Furuya get along well, they know how it feels to be afraid of being abandoned.

• Because of the training his father made him go through while growing up, during the training camp, he was able to keep going with the practice better than the other first years.

• He is a baseball prodigy, he loves baseball with all of his heart and would play any position he was asked to be in without arguments.

• He has always been extremely bad at studying and work but always manages to get a passing grade so he can continue to play baseball.

• Usually practices more than everyone and was once told off for doing so. That goes back to him being scared to not succeed, he needed to always get stronger.

• Even if he slept for only an hour when he wakes up he is fine and won't be tired in the slightest.
