Personality:
Miko is a polite girl who is respectful to her elders and her other demon slayers, she would help her friends if she is able of doing so. When she is with her close friends, family and if she isn't on a mission she is a bubbly, well behaved girl who always puts a smile on peoples faces.

When she was younger she was an extremely shy girl who stayed by her mother/older sister side wherever she went, after the death of her family she became quiet and she didn't trust anyone anymore until she was adopted by
Yoshito Hoshiko who helped her come out of her shell. Thanks to him she became the girl everyone knows today but deep down she is a sensitive girl who is fighting everyday to stay alive and live for her family.

When she became a Tsuguko she became overprotective of Hikari who was her older adopted sister. She keeps calm and with her enhanced hearing she helps Hikaru to find and dodge demons while Hikari with her good eyesight keeps her successor safe for the day something happens to her. Miko won't give up and she will always follow what she believes in, no one can stop her when she sets her mind onto something. She will never abandon her friends or family even if it costs her life.

Backstory:
Miko lived a happy life with her family, her being a shy kid was usually at her mother or older sisters side so she was extremely close to them. When she was 13 her family was killed by a demon, Miko and her sister hid but sadly her sister was found and killed. Miko was a small child so she wasn't noticed in the dark corner of the room so she survived. She was traumatised and stayed in the spot she was in for a day before an old man, Yoshito Hoshiko, who was walking past her house saw her and all of her families bodies. He took her in and adopted her, he taught her how to protect herself and she was a talented sword woman by the end of the training. It took her two years to complete her training because it took almost a year for her to recover after the traumatic scene she witnessed.

Abilities and Power/Attacks:

Full Focus Breathes - A tactical skill which sets Pillars apart from ordinary demon slayers. Hikari uses this breathing method to generate oxygen in her blood and strengthen her muscles. It gives her the power and stamina needed to combat demons without changing her physical form. Even though she isn't a pillar she was able to learn it

Breath of Stars Style

First Style: Starline Slice - A single concentrated slash that has a star trail following behind it.

Second Style: Star Stream Circle - does a somersault in the air while stars do a circle around her from the top of her body to the bottom. She lands behind the demon and while they are stunned for a few seconds she turns her sword to the side and slashes their neck sideways.

Third Style: Shooting Star Spear - runs towards the demon with unbelievable speed, she spins her sword like a drill. With the same speed's sword slices the demons body/legs/neck or arms off completely.

Fifth Style: Starlight Shield - Stars appear and combined together to become big stars that cover from all directions like a force field, it protect her from any demon arts or even a demon trying to hit her with force.

Natural Abilities:

Enhanced Hearing - Miko has a heightened sense of hearing, allowing her to detect danger from even the faintest of sounds. She is also able to hear the inner thoughts of people if she uses the sense of hearing to its fullest potential, and she can also use this ability to aid her in locating Demons by comparing the sounds produced by a Demon's body to those produced by a human.

Miko loved her family and was always around them, she spend every minute of the day with them and when they were killed it broke her.

Yoshito Hoshiko:
Miko respects him and is extremely thankful to him, if it wasn't for him she might of died the day he found her. She is extremely thankful for him for being patient with her, not giving up on her and sending a message to his granddaughter and telling her about Miko. Miko would do anything for Yoshito, she even calls him grandpa.

Hikari Hoshiko:
Miko looks up to Hikari and is honoured to be her successor in the future. The girls trust each other completely and can work in sync which always helps when fighting demons. Her ears help by being able to hear around her and to keep Hikari safe while Hikari's eyes can help Miko to not get killed if a demon is fast.

Outside of fighting Hikari shares her house with Miko since she has nowhere else to go, they both get along like sisters but at first Miko noticed how hard it was for Hikari since she heard she used to live with her brother. Miko helped Hikari get used to living with someone else but sadly Miko isn't a very good cook so Hikari cooks most of the time.

When Hikari becomes a couple with Tomioka she tells Miko that Tomioka is making her stay with him which Miko said is fine and is happy that Hikari has someone to love.

Tanjiro Kamado:
Miko and Tanjiro immediately became friends after she helped him when she saw he was in a tricky situation at the Final Selection. After that they were split apart but when they both survived they talked before going their separate ways. When Miko saw him again they caught up and after that they always have each others backs whenever the other needs it. Miko finds Nezuko adorable and wants to spend more time with her which makes the male happy.

Zenitsu Agatsuma:
The first time Zenitsu and Miko met he clung to her and begged her to get married to him. Miko was confused and politely declined but he continued to beg her and didn't let go. Miko became uncomfortable and got him off of her, when he again tried she accidentally punched him around the face since she didn't know if it was him or someone else trying to attack her. When she saw it was him she immediately apologised to him.

Inosuke Hashibira:
When they first met Miko was interested in why he wears a boar mask and tried to take it off out of curiosity but he slapped her arm and shouted at her which made her immediately apologise. After that she only goes over to him when she is with someone since he doesn't seem happy to be around her alone and she is slightly scared of him because of how he acts.

Kanao Tsuyuri:
Miko and Kanao have never spoken apart from a wave so she doesn't know the girl very well. She hopes she can get closer to her.

Genya Shinazugawa:
Like Kanao she has never spoken to him but after a while she managed to find the confidence to talk to him and he ignored her. She kept trying and finally he talked to her but it was more like he shouted at her. Miko never gave up and after a long while they talked to each other, its rare but she doesn't mind that at all.
