Personality: Kanami is a confident, level headed and affectionate woman who is very friendly and loves to talk to people. She is very outgoing and has a very soft, gentle voice and personality which attracts children to her. When she stopped speaking she became very depressed and closed off from most people even her cousin who kept pestering her on why she stopped acting. The anxieties that she hid started to show themselves resulting with her keep having panic attacks and passing out from them. When she was able to speak again the anxieties never left her but her panic attacks seemed to calm down, she now only gets attacks when overwhelmed, stressed or something triggers them.

Backstory: Kanami has been in the acting industry ever since she could talk because of her mother who was a very famous actor. At first her mother just wanted her to try new things but after seeing that was what a prodigy she kept forcing Kanami to keep acting and learn how to sing. She learnt how to sing professionally for a child at a young age and since she was young she's been in a lot of theatre plays and singing competitions. Kanami grew to love acting and signing and would do it on a daily basis. In her free time she would spend time with her cousin, Tasuku Takato, and his friend, Tsumugi Tsukioka, who were also into acting. By high school and early university Kanami was very popular but her mother kept controlling her by putting her in shows even if her voice hurt. By the end of university she had suddenly stopped singing, acting (for a short time) and hardly talked, the reason for that is unknown since Kanami refuses to talk about it.

Extra/Trivia:

• Shares a room with Kaya (my Oc)

• Has a low alcohol intolerance, so she tries to stay away from drinking it.

• Tasuku and Tsumugi call Kanami Nami/Na-Chan like they call each other Tsumu and Taa-chan.

• Debuted in episode 6 of season 2. Episode 19. Winter troupe. She first appeared when Tsumugi appeared at the station and Tasuku saw him. She was with the male and hugged Tsumugi happily since she missed him. She met everyone else when Tasuku was walking the streets when Juza, Banri, Tsumugi and Azuma were doing a street act. She was with him and after Taichi walked over to him and spoke to the male he noticed Kanami and was taken by surprised and accidentally shouted her name shocked getting peoples attention.

• Usually has panic attacks and sometimes passes out when she is overwhelmed or she hears/sees what triggers her which is her mother's singing and seeing her in person. She is terrified of her mother this is shown when Tenma said that Kanami's mother was a famous actor as well as Kanami and showed a performance she was in. Kanami walked in and when she heard her mother voice she started to not be able to breath from the attack she was having. All she heard before panic took over was Tasuku's voice saying turn it off.

• Has lived on her own since she joined university. She had her own flat during university, she didn't stay in a dorm. It came in handy when her mother abandoned her like she did, she didn't have to worry and since she had money from her acting she could survive for a while.

• Is an child actor like Tenma so she knew him pretty well. When he saw her again he asked her why she stopped acting and she looked sad and said she didn't want to talk about it confusing the younger male.

• The reason she stopped singing was because she had strained her vocal cords so much that if she sung anymore or raised her voice she may not be able to speak anymore. After hearing that Kanami was abandoned by her mother who said she was useless since she didn't let her voice relax but the reason she didn't was because of the woman.

• Another reason she stopped singing even after her voice healed was because of the trauma that she finally noticed she had been through with her mother forcing her to sing when she couldn't. She got over it when she saw Tsumugi regain his courage and how much stronger he got, she needed to get stronger and not let the past take control of her.

Relationships:

Chieko Matsumoto: Kanami and her mother used to have a very loving relationship but she got blinded by the fame and attention that her daughter was getting and became controlling. By the time Kaya finished university and what happened to her vocal cords her mother out right just abandoned her since she was useless if she couldn't sing. Anything apart from acting her mother didn't care what she did so they didn't have a mother daughter relationship they had a teacher student relationship. Thanks to her mother her family slowly started to not talk to her making being around them very suffocating, some pitied her while some thought she was exactly like her mother which was controlling so they stayed away from her.

Tasuku Takato: Kanami loves her cousin and loved to spend time with him as much as she could growing up which wasn't as much as she had hoped. She loved to act with him and Tsumugi, she used to spend a lot of time with them here since well it was acting and her mother wanted her to act. Slowly she started to miss a lot of school because she was very busy with acting and singing, she had talked to Tasuku about all the work she is doing playfully and his reply was that she was lucky to be getting all of the work and she should work hard for it. She had agreed happily at that time but by university she had started to think that acting wasn't fun and it was only making her suffer. Tasuku had gotten angry at her when he found out that she had taken a break from acting not even waiting for her to give him a reason why she stopped he didn't talk to her for a few weeks. When he finally spoke to her again he found out about what happened with her mother and why she stopped acting and was devastated. He felt very guilty and agreed to keep what happened a secret and let her tell everyone, the only person he told was Tsumugi after the male witnessed one of Kanami's panic attacks.

Tsumugi Tsukioka: Kanami has always felt relaxed and calm around Tsumugi. She loved to spend time with him whenever she could and was heartbroken when he disappeared after not getting into God Troupe. She by then couldn't call him since she had lost her voice but she had message him and found out he had a girlfriend which kinda hurt her but she didn't understand why. When he finally came back to where she and Tasuku was, the start of winter troupe, she hugged him at the station and said that she really missed him. He had hugged her back and relaxed a little being happy that she hadn't changed. Slowly while spending time with her again he started it feel different than usual becoming a lot more protective and wanting to be around her. He was devastated to hear what happened to her while he was gone and would never of thought that the relationship between her and her mother could break that easily. Thanks to Tsumugi Kanami found why she loved acting again.

Tenma Sumeragi: Kanami thinks of Tenma as a younger brother, she had acted with him and helped him with acting when they were children and spent a lot of time with the male. She then went missing from the theatre world after university and that made the younger male worry. When he found her again at Mankai he asked her where she had been and she said that she didn't want to talk about it. After he saw how she panicked after hearing her mothers voice he made her talk to him. She told him about the trauma that she had finally noticed she had been through and that she was too scared to sing, he got angry but soon calmed down after seeing just how angry she was at herself that she couldn't sing after hearing her try to sing in private and having a panic attack which he helped her deal with. After she got her confidence back he demanded to act with her again which she agreed to do.

All seasons troupes: She could not get close to everyone at first since her anxieties stopped her from getting too close even if she did act very friendly with everyone. After she got better she apologised to everyone and become closer to them all been acting with them sometimes. The younger less experienced actors come to her for advice and acting help with she happily helps with.
