Personality: Kaya is a bubbly girl who is obsessed with a lot of things but she is mostly obsessed with acting, singing and dancing. She used to be very timid and quiet around kids because her likes never matched theirs making her affection and attention deprived. She got bullied because of the way she acts making her change to who she is today but at that time if was more forced so she could fit in.

She is very mature when she feels like she needs to be but usually she is happy go lucky after she figured out that she should be herself and not worry about what other people think of her. If you don't take acting or someone's hard work seriously her personality will do a complete 360 and she will become serious and stern. She isn't scared to give someone a piece of her mind but she gets scared easily that because of the way she acts people with leave her. She is happy to help with whatever she can and she is very loving to the people she cares about.

Backstory: Kaya's parents work overseas leaving her and her older brother, Masumi, alone in Japan. Masumi would stay out not liking being at home, Kaya used to always follow but thought she was getting annoying and stopped pretty quick, resulting in her walking into a building out of curiosity because of the bright lights and found dancing, singing, acting and art classes. Kaya not wanting to be alone tried it and fell deeply in love with them but the loneliness never left her.

Kaya hoped to make friends but no one took the lessons seriously, they only went because their parents sent them. She didn't like this and decided to not talk to them if not needed. She quickly found out that her attitude wasn't the best and would only make people dislike her making her stop talking and only spoke when she was acting/dancing or singing out of fear of being hated. One day Kaya's whole mindset and attitude changed after hearing the kids talk about her behind her back, she became bubbly and very friendly but sadly the kids didn't want to be her friend anymore.

One day in middle school Kaya tried to fit in with her classmates and tried to like what they liked but quickly figured out that it was hopeless and just went back to acting resulting in her having no friends or anyone showing her attention unless she got the attention because of her acting. The only attention she got was from Masumi when he was at home and sometimes her grandmother resulting in her being affection deprived a lot of the time.

A week and a half before her debut to Mankai she started to question why Masumi didn't return home at all and decided to ask him at school. She sadly didn't get an answer from him and when she tried to follow him to where he was staying she always lost him. She finally found out where he was staying after a couple of days of trying to follow him and being unsuccessful. She only saw Izumi and got the wrong idea making her be angry at him and went to Manaki company.

Kaya walked to the door and asked Izumi who saw her if someone called Masumi Usui was here. She immediately saw him and went towards him and attacked him by jumping on his back. She looked at him annoyed and asked why did he leave her for so long and didn't tell her where he was, she got a simple sorry making her even more annoyed at the male. Izumi stopped the argument immediately and told Kaya what they were doing at Manaki. Kaya's eyes lit up hearing about what they were doing she then begged to help in any way she could, she even offered to cook making the boys eyes light up. Since then she has helped however she could.

Extra/Trivia:

• Debuted on episode 3 of the anime, spring season. How she met everyone is in her backstory.

• Kaya is the underclassmen to her brother, Sakuya and Banri.

• Kaya is very creative and good with her hands. She's good at designing on cakes, biscuits and she's also very good at Latte/Coffee art.

• Kaya at the start of the series is very confident in her acting skills until later down the line she feels like she's not needed because more experienced actors have started to help. One day when Omi was baking she asked to help and found her love for designing on cakes, biscuits and she is especially good at latte art.

• Kaya used to share a room with Izumi at first because they didn't think they would have enough rooms but after the room got too crowded she offered to move into an empty room. She had her own room until Kanami (my Oc) moved into the same room with her in Winter.

• Has a bad habit of hugging people to show she cares and when she's tired she hugs people without thinking. This is very common making the boys mostly freak out thinking she's mad at them until they see she's exhausted.

• Suffers from insomnia caused by fear of being alone. When she can't sleep and everyone else is asleep she has a panic attack but if someone is awake she usually asks to talk to them or stay with them. She usually falls asleep if she's in the same room as someone who is awake or close to someone like her brother.

• In Autumn season Kaya got angry at Banri for how he acted around Juza and saying that he was better than everyone here. She angrily snapped at him and stopped the two fighting once, well more Banri.

• Is a well known actress since she performed a lot but nowhere as well known as Tenma.

• Is an amazing cook, she used to cook for everyone and also bakes but when Omi joined she helped him a lot.

Relationships:

Masumi Usui: Kaya and Masumi are very close even if they don't seem like they are. Masumi is very overprotective of Kaya even if he doesn't show it in public, he usually hugs her when she's having a bad or stressful day since he knows how to calm her down. He knows how to calm her when she's having her insomnia panic attacks, he hugs her and just talks to her until she falls asleep. Like with Izumi he wants to be around her and protect her from everyone but he cooled down ever so slightly after he noticed she was making friends with new people and that she was happier. He would only be very clingy when she's in a mood that he knows will affect her in a very bad way.

Taichi Nanao: At first Kaya didn't think anything but he was a happy and fun person to be around but after hearing about his backstory she felt like she could related to him. When she saw him become emotional about his love of acting she saw him in a completely different light. When they were both alone she hugged him and told him that she thought he was very strong and she respected and knew he was going to fit in here, he hugged her back and teared up again. Since that day they both got along very well and started to get closer and closer as friends and finally more. While getting closer to him she found the way he acts was cute and she started to want to do more with him since they both understand how each other felt and being around him she never felt bored and she felt really calm. She had even tried new things that he liked that she didn't want to try a few years ago. She had asked him to show her his interests since he seemed like he had a lot of really cool interests and she wanted to get to know him more. He at first taught her how to do the YoYo trick, she found it really cool and was amazed, he had commented that she looked like a small kid at that moment and she had pouted making the boy laugh. That was only a first of what they did.

Spring troupe: Kaya respects them all for being able to deal with her annoying brother. She likes to watch Itaru play games and is very grateful to him for letting her watch him play late at night when she was panicky. She usually falls asleep in his room resulting in being carried to her room or woken up by her angry brother in the mornings. He always gets the wrong idea when Izumi tells him most mornings that Kaya had gone missing again/ she couldn't find her and is found in the older boys room. Kaya likes how much Sakuya and Tsuzuru put into acting. Tsuzuru for being so motivated to finish the scripts to even not sleep and scare everyone by passing out like he died. Sakuya because he never gave up even after hearing that the theatre was going to be closed down.

Summer troupe: At first Kaya hated Tenma's attitude, she tried to keep to herself but one time when he started to make fun of everyone for their acting skills she had said to get off your high horse and help them get to your level your majesty in a mocking tone. Even after saying that she became closer to him and they became very close since they both love acting and theatre. Kaya had asked him to teach her more about acting often practices with him. She got along with Yuki after she had asked him if she could help make the clothes or if he could teach her so if he needed help ever she could help. He gladly taught her. Kaya got along with Muku because of their love of manga, he had once said that he wanted to be a prince to save her if she ever needed help when he was lost in one of his fanboy moments. She had smiled and happily laughed when she saw how embarrassed and shy he became. She at first didn't get along with Kazunari finding him a little overwhelming but quickly she started to get alone and asked him to teach her how to do graphic designing which she found a interest in. Kaya when Kumon joined wanted to get closer to him since he seemed really nice and she is a friendly girl. When he once didn't have no one to spend time with she offered to spend time with him and his eyes lit up, he took her to a place and they both played a lot of sports together. Kaya had a very fun time and they both agreed to spend more time together.

Autumn troupe: Kaya was angry at how Banri and Juza acted with each other even telling them to get out of the theatre if this is how they were going to act. She slowly stopped being angry at Juza after seeing just how much he wanted to act and how serious he was but with Banri she was angry at how he thought that everything was easy for him and he never tried to get better and how much he made fun of Juza for how hard he works. She and him and always gotten into arguments but Banri never went further than just arguing with her. By the end of Autumn troupe Kaya accepted Banri but they still get into small arguments, he even goes as far as to start to watch out for her at school seeing that the way she acts would definitely get her in a lot of fights with people. Kaya got along with Juza pretty quickly after she saw how much he wanted to act and get better, she gave him a few pointers then found out about his love of sweets and sweet treats. She immediately said that they should go and get some together without thinking and they immediately became closer because of that interest. Kaya immediately got along with Omi because of their love of cooking, she always asked to cook with him and she became a better cook because of his pointers and him helper her which she gave back with what she knew. With Sakyo she looked up to him with how easy he could stop Banri and Juza fighting, she had asked him to teach her to be scary like that and immediately regretted her words when he got angry, she immediately ran. The next day he told her that she didn't need to be scary to get them under control and gave her a few pointers after she kept asking him for some, she couldn't do it right so he told her to just give up making her pout. Azami once made Kaya try some face cream more like he forced it on her face and she had a huge painful rash on her face the next day. he once got angry at Kaya because she can't sleep very well and that is ruining her skin, he even made her cry once since she was very in a tired and emotional state and that didn't go well with Masumi.

Winter troupe: Kaya at first didn't trust Tasuku because of him being in God Troupe but quickly changed her mind when she saw that he was serious about being in Mankai company. She watched him for a short while then found the courage to talk to him after he noticed her keep staring at him, just like with Tenma she had asked him to help her with acting since she wanted to get better and he gladly agreed to help her. With Tsumugi she didn't understand why but she felt so infatuated when she watched him act, she had immediately went towards him and started to say how much she liked his acting even if it was small at the time. Kaya could tell that he was really good at acting but he didn't have the confidence to show it and she understood that since acting takes a lot of courage and confidence, it had taken her years to get as confident as sh feels. Tsumugi had immediately noticed that she wasn't the best at studying and had acting and theatre on the brain and it amused him, he had offered to help her with studying sometimes which she happily accepted. She finds it very easy to talking to Tsumugi about how she feels and it usually helps her calm down when she's panicking since he has a way of calming people down. Kaya at first found Hisoka weird since he kept sleeping and then waking up, she also envied that he could do that, but then she found that it was funny when he was fed Marshmallows in his sleep. She isn't that close to the male but she had once commented that she thought his hair looked as soft as a marshmallow. She isn't that close with Homare and Azuma but she sometimes likes to colour with Azuma since colouring does help with stress and it calms her down a lot of the time.
