It was a cold night and Lucy was sitting in her room reading one of her favorite books while eating some pocky.

"I'm starting to get bored" Lucy says while eating another stick of pocky.

"It's quiet... a little too quiet" she says getting a little suspicious.

Lucy then got up and looked around.
"Nothing there" she says surprisingly.

She then walked back to her room. But only to find a familiar pink haired wizard sitting on her couch....

"What are you doing here Natsu!"
She says with a angry tone.

"Happy started teasing me so I decided to come here" Natsu says with a grin.

"Where's happy now?"

"He went to see Carla I think" Natsu says.

"Why did you come here in the first place?" Lucy says still a bit angry.

"I don't know I just felt like coming here to see you I guess." He says with a hint of pink on his face.

"Why didn't you just go to the guild" Lucy says still questioning the fire mage.

"I didn't want to go there really. Plus I like being here with you" he says with a bit more pink on his face.

"Why can't you just leave Natsu" Lucy says still wanting him out of her place.

"Why can't I just stay here luce" he says hoping she says yes.

"Because you just can't Natsu" Lucy says getting even more ticked off.

Natsu then starts to look around and he spots the box of pocky sitting by him.
And so Natsu plots an idea...

"How about we do a bet" he says tempted to stay.

"What kind of a bet" Lucy says with a confused face.

"If you win I'll leave your place" Natsu says.

"And if you win" Lucy questions.

"If I win you have to let me stay the night here" he says with another grin.

Lucy then thought about it. If she wins he won't bother her for the night. But if he wins he gets to stay the night with her. Just the thought of it makes her tempted to win this bet.

"It's a deal but how are we gonna settle this" she asks.

"We are gonna play the pocky game".

"How do you even know what the pocky game is!" Lucy says in shock.

"Happy told me about it" Natsu says being clueless.

"Dang it happy" Lucy whispers to herself.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

"So are we gonna do it or what?" Natsu says still clueless.

"Rephrase that sentence Natsu" Lucy says with a face palm.

"Are you gonna play the pocky game with me or not?"

"F- fine I'll play the pocky game" Lucy says with a hint of blush on her face.

"We will have three rounds. Who ever wins the game wins the bet. Got it?"
Natsu says determinly.

"Uh.. Yeah got it" Lucy says.

Natsu then nods. A smirk appears on his face as he grabs a pocky stick. He then he sits back down and scoots closer to Lucy.

"That's a little too close Natsu" she says as she backs up and feels her face getting hot.

"Don't you wanna see who wins the bet?" Natsu says.

"Well yes." Says lucy.

"Then play the pocky game with me" he says as he puts the pocky stick in his mouth.

"I get it fine" Lucy says blushing still.

Lucy being flustered scoots back over to natsu. She then starts to nibble on the pocky. Natsu starts munching on the pocky as well but really fast. Being embarrassed already Lucy stops eating the pocky and turns her head away. With her face getting more hot than it was.

"Why did you stop luce? Why did you turn  away?" Natsu says being dumbfounded.

"I... It's nothing alright!" She says as her face is still feeling hot.

"Alright then... let's do another round luce" he says still not knowing the situation.

Natsu reaches and grabs another pocky stick. He puts one side of the pocky stick in his mouth. Lucy then starts eating the other end of the pocky. But then Natsu realizes what the situation was and he quickly turns his head away.

"Now look who's backing out" Lucy says with a smirk.

"Shut up it was just I..... I... nevermind let's just play the pocky game one more time alright" Natsu says with some blush on his face.

(What's going on with me?) Lucy thinks.
(Why has my face gotten so hot? Why is my heart racing when I'm around him?..... Ok I need to just focus on the game.)

Lucy grabs the last pocky stick and takes one end of it. Determined not to lose both Natsu and Lucy start munching on the pocky. Neither not wanting to back down. Then in an instant there was a centimeter between each other.

(Why are we not ending this already?) Lucy thought.

(Why did we stop?) Natsu thinks. (Why do I feel hot? I just wanna win this bet....... you know what actually I don't even care who wins anymore!)

Natsu then leans in and locks lips with Lucy. Lucy gets shocked of what's happening. But in a second she then deepens the kiss with Natsu. This goes on for a minute then they break the kiss.

"Hey luce?" Natsu said with a red face.

"Y... yeah?" Lucy says with a dark shade of red on her face.

"Do you wanna know why happy was teasing me in the first place?"

"What was it?" Lucy says still dazed from what happened.

"He was teasing me because he said he didn't think I could kiss you."

"Well he was wrong then" Lucy says blushing.

"Who won the bet though?"

"We can just call it a tie Natsu." Lucy says smiling.

"Alright.... can I still stay the night with you though?" Natsu says.

"Yeah you can but only cause it's cold out tonight." Lucy says as she embraces Natsu with a hug.

"Thank you luce." Natsu says as he kisses Lucy on the cheek.

5 minutes later happy flies by to go see Natsu and lucy. He looks through the window only to see the two love birds sleeping with each other on this cold night. Then happy flies off.

"I've seen it!" Happy says smirking.

"Dang it i owe Wendy 5 dollars" happy says as he heads back to see carla.
