Backstory:
Varian and Demmalena are the son and daughter of Quirin, member of the Brotherhood, and Ulla mother Varian and Demmalena are siblings they both want to make their father proud and both like Alchemy and Engineering but Demmalena is very special because she born with magic and powers so she travel around the world to learn them and learn Alchemy and Engineering then when she was turned 19 she returned home to see her family again when she got back her father was happy to see her she was happy to see her brother but some reason he ignore her then she made friends went on adventure with them and so much more but one day things have gone worse the black rocks start growing and destroying everything in Old Corona. Varian wants to find a way to stop them from destroying anything else, but Quirin and his sister Demmalena tells him to stay away from them. Varian then goes with his father and his sister to see the King and inform him of the situation. Upset when his father openly lies to the king about the rocks Demmalena doesn't like lying but she only did it to protect her brother, Varian tells Rapunzel the truth. He then decides to take matters into his own hands and works on finding a way to remove the rocks with alchemy. When Quirin finds out what Varian is doing, Varian admonishes his father for trying to run away from their problems; during this altercation, Varian spills a chemical on the rocks which causes amber crystals to burgeon forth from them. Quirin pushes Varian away from being trapped in the glowing amber but is caught himself. Desperate to keep his father from being encased in the amber
Varian runs to Rapunzel to get her help, but, with her people in the crisis of the upcoming snowstorm, she reluctantly turns her back on him and lets him be dragged out by Pete and Stan Varian returns home and finds his father completely encased in solid amber Demmalena was there she was in tears she ask him what happened so he explained it to her of what he did what he was done Demmalena was not happy she slap him and told him he wasn't ready to do this and told him to stay of this this but he didn't listen so she left him alone when she left his in tears and feeling Rapunzel's apparent betrayal bitterly, he vows to find a way to save his father and to make everyone who had turned their backs on him pay and Demmalena he will never want to see her again then Rapunzel told Demmalena what her brother did she was shocked and decided to keep Corona and Rapunzel safe just like her father wanted then Varian was defeated and save the Queen she took her brother to jail then Demmalena join Rapunzel and her friends on the quest about the black rock and the moonstone soon she meet friends and mates
