Hmm? To be fair, I drew this with no existing references...and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. However, I had inspiration regarding the background. There is this actor named Geoffrey Whitehead who played Sherlock Holmes in an old television series; I recommend checking it out on YouTube. Anyway, the theme commencing each episode is a beautiful violin solo (I lied. It is a violin piece with a piano in the background) and the camera pans in upon Sherlock/Geoffrey standing underneath a street lamp. The light, of course, sheds a warm, golden glow which illuminates the upper torso of Sherlock/Geoffrey. So...I used that form of background within this image here.)
