↬  Before Liya was even born, she had two older siblings, Kinsol and Jena. Jena was the oldest and loved being an older siblings. She would always take care of her baby siblings and do anything for them. So once she heard that their mother was pregnant again. She took care of them since their mother got a bit sick during the pregnancy. Her father worked, and her brother was kind of a brat. But the mother felt better and gave her brother to another beautiful girl, Liya. But something was different with her. She had more markings than the rest of the family. So, as a precautions, the family hides more on the outskirts and lets her live without any worry.
That was until Liya was four. She was sleeping as her marks glowed and a hand like shadow like tucked her in before she got a nightmare. The whole house had a blackout, and so did the town. The mayor of said town went to Sparpe's house to discuss. It turns out that she has the villages hidden magic. So she still must be hidden if their rival town doesn't come and ruin their town.
This only lasted a year since there were some hunters who wanted the power for themselves. All did not succeed  beside one. One found the family and went and attacked them. Once he had Liya in his hand, of course, her older sister tried to attack her, but her father held her back. They tried to fight, but it was a lot, and he tied the rest of the family up. Wanting to leave no one left. He set up Liya to go and put a gun in her hands. He told her to choose one or none. The 5 year old didn't know what to do as she was shaking and crying. Her magic kicked in, and it went crazy. She didn't know what was happening as the male went to grab her. He aimed the gun and shot all of the family members. She couldn't proceed what she was doing, so she was just frozen. So the male just grabbed her and walked away. Basically, he is kidnapping her. He went back to his agency and told his bosses what the girl was capable of. For the next few years, all she did was training to become the next assassin. The training was brutal, and she was slowly becoming heartless and cold.

↬ At the first moment, she turned 13 the male who became the person in charge of her. He took her out on a job and forced her to kill the target. He made sure she used her magic and the weapons she was given. Time after that happened, she was forced to go on jobs with him until she could complete it herself. She didn't ask questions and just did what she was told.
During one of her jobs, she almost ran into the said light priestess. She hid herself in the darkness before turning back to the agency. Of course she was told about the drama between the two towns and she would rather stay away.
When she was 16, she had a job that targeted the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth. She had to kill them due to how powerful they were. So she followed them for a while, and she knew all the steps of hiding her scent and how to move lightly. She attacked Rogue first, so her magic had an easier time attacking Sting. She managed to get them down, and she just couldn't kill them. So she ran and hid. Liya couldn't bring herself to do it anymore, so she hid for days on end. But lucky for her, Sting and Rogue had a job to take down the agency. Once they did, they found all of her paperwork and her history. So Sting suggested bringing her back to the guild. After a few days, the boys frowned her and brought her back. They explained, and of course, she had to show her strength. In the end, she was accepted in the guild. She listened to everything Jiemma said, and of course, he used that to his advantage. She tends to go on jobs with the boys but usually goes alone. She did get closer to the boys, but she didn't open up a lot either. She stopped talking to them once Minae showed up, and the two were forced to go on a job together.
