Powers: Persephone has powers over fertility, and can grow plants in even the most barren of places.  She can also manipulate the growth of plants, speeding it up or slowing it down.  She has the power to heal animals, and can heal people to a very limited extent.  She can prematurely end someone's life with her powers (anyone killed by Persephone will go as pale as snow and drop to the ground before a black flower grows out of their mouth as the life drains from their eyes), and can cause someone's passing from the world of the living to the world of the dead to be as painful and agonizingly slow as possible.  She can also outright not admit them to the afterlife.  Her powers over the Underworld and death are extremely unstable due to her premature separation from Olympus, as she had only been with Hades in the Underworld for a short period of time before she and the others ended up in Asgard. When her emotions are particularly out of hand, she will often cause damage without meaning to, either taking someone's life or causing them immense pain.

Appearance:

Persephone has pale skin and a light scattering of freckles on her arms and face. She has a round face with blue eyes, and has light blond curly hair that usually falls a ways past her shoulders. When she uses her powers her hair will grow, and when her powers are unstable her hair can reach the ground, sometimes even dragging behind her. Her eyes will also change color when she's using her powers, either turning a glowing white or pitch black. She is short, standing at 5'3, and is rather skinny.

Personality: Kindhearted but has a sharp bite when needed, shy, loves all living things and is at peace when she is either tending to an animal or the Asgardian gardens, pacifistic and diplomatic (prefers to talk her way out of situations rather than fight if she can), strong hearted, stubborn, will stop at nothing to protect her loved ones

Flaws: Lacking in self confidence, clingy, although she's caring for everyone she tends to put the lives of the ones closest to her before everyone else without thinking about the bigger picture, her powers are very much attached to her emotions so when she gets very angry or sad she can be fairly destructive without even realizing it, she gets very down on herself when her powers get out of control

Family: Parents; Zeus and Demeter

Backstory: Persephone originally resided in Olympus, which in a different universe, took the place of Asgard (except instead of ruling all the realms they only ruled the realm of Humans, or Earth.) She was in an arranged marriage with Hades and spent the winter and fall underneath Olympus in the Underworld and spring and summer in the palace in Olympus wth her mother Demeter. She was unhappy in the marriage, because although she cared for Hades, she did not love him. Meanwhile, the Titan Kronos, Father of all gods, has grown restless out of fear that his children are growing more powerful than he and will one day overthrow him.  He decides that he is the rightful ruler of Olympus and to come to power he must get rid of the other gods.  With his scythe, he cut a rift through time and threw the gods in one by one, promising them a most terrible fate.  Instead, they tumbled into the Avengers' universe, thrown down on the floor of Odin's throne room in Asgard.  Both Olympians and Asgardians alike are confused at their appearance, but the Zeus ends up convincing Odin to help them get back to their world and defeat Kronos.  Persephone, however, finds herself hesitant to return to her home due to her infatuation with prince Loki.  With him she feels free, away from the bonds of her loveless marriage with Hades.
