"How is station 23 going, Amplifa?"

"It's been terminated by the #1 just as planned."

"Perfect," He sat up from his chair and stretched his stiff muscles. "Looks like it's time for me to have my fun."

"I'm doing what?" Deku asked his sidekick Green Spirit.

"Going to the central hospital, it's good publicity since you took out those bad guys recently, it's good to keep that up." Deku let out a sigh. "It'll only be for a few hours, two at the most."

Deku let out a sigh. "Sure thing." Green Spirit gave him the direction and was quickly on his way there.

"Alright, I'm off!" You said as you pumped yourself up for today.

With your guitar at hand, you headed out to Japan's central Hospital, eager to lift the spirits of all the children there as you've done before.

"Hey Nao!" You called out seeing a familiar face as you arrived.

"Y/n! It's been such a long time since I've seen you! How have you been?" She jogged over to you and give you a hug.

"Working hard as usual. What about you? How's your craft store coming along?" You two walked side by side and made your way to the front desk.

"It's great! We're adding new materials and soon we'll be having craft classes!" She seemed so bright as usual which made you smile.

"That sounds like a lot of fun." You turned your attention to the desk lady. "Hi, we're here as volunteers." You held up your guitar case as evidence.

"Of course, the volunteers are getting together on the fifth floor, room 586."

"Thanks!" Nao cheered and was quick to walk towards the elevator. "Oh! And did you hear? Deku might be coming today too!" You took a moment to make sure you heard her right.

"Deku?" You asked.

"Yup! It's been a while since he's done this kind of stuff since he was in his last year of school." That's when you remembered that Nao was also a big fan of Heroes so maybe she could fill you in.

"So what was he like in school?" It was as if you triggered something inside of her as her eyes sparkled with determination.

"It all started when he surprised everyone in the first year Sports festival!" You weren't sure by this point if it was a good idea or a bad idea asking her about Izuku's history because your head was just so filled with so much information you didn't know what to do with it.

"Hello everyone and welcome to this year's volunteer group! I'm glad to see so many new faces and a few old ones." Mitsuhi looked over at you to which you saluted like a soldier in response.

"Today we have a special guest and I'm sure you all know him as," He waved towards the door. "Deku!"

There was a series of cheerful mutters, mostly from the girls in the room, as he walked in.

"Hello everyone!" He greeted somewhat formally with a bow. "I hope we all have a great time today, Plus Ultra!" Everyone in the room started clapping and as the noise died down when Mitsushi spoke up again.

"Now I know it's very exciting to have the number one hero present but please do not forget why we're all here. We will split you into groups depending on your skills and what you work best as so when you hear your name called please come up front!" You waited patiently for Mitsuhi to announce the names and when it finally came to yours, well,

"Y/n L/n! Music entertainment as usual!" Maybe you couldn't see Izukus face but you could tell he was surprised to see you there of all places. "You won't be in a group, you'll be switching between them as support with their activities."

"Yes sir!" You saluted once more and headed out with the first group, passing by Deku. "If you need any help, I've been doing this for a few years now, so if you have any questions, just ask me." You smiled sweetly towards him right before you left and it was at that moment Izuku was relieved at the fact that he was wearing a mask to hide his reddened cheeks.

One day I'll know how far I'll go!♪" You loved hearing the few rapid claps from the children in the hospitalization room once you finished. The person you were partnered up with ended his presentation with small waves of water that went along with the song. He would make various animals and forms, astounding the children.

"Well kids that's it for now, we're going on a small break but then another pair of volunteers will come by to see you all!" You waved goodbye to them and headed out.

"Wanna go get lunch?" Your partner asked.

"Sure!" You were starving and you couldn't wait to see what they had in store for you guys this year. You got your tray and had a pretty comfortable conversation with your partner and his boyfriend who just so happened to also be volunteering.

Although, in Deku's eyes, he thought they were trying to flirt with you. He had already finished his lunch before anyone else since he'd rather not be seen without his mask.

"Alright everyone, this is the last of the groups!" The head volunteer announced, and of course, you were paired up with the #1.

"Looks like we'll be partners." You walked over to Deku and stuck your hand out to him. "I'm Y/n L/n, nice to meet you." You smiled making his heart skip a beat.

"O-Oh, I'm Deku!" You couldn't help but let out a chuckle at his nervousness.

"Yeah, I kinda guessed from the green hero uniform." You joked. "Well from what they told us, we have to head to the 12th floor, room 1252."

"Right, let's get going." Deku tried to compose himself because he knew that if he kept acting all flustered, you would surely find out.

Oh if he only knew.

"So..." You tried to think up normal conversation topics but the thought of teasing him to no end just sounded a lot more fun. "My boyfriend works at your company,"

So straightforward! Deku internally sweatdropped.

"His name is Izuku Midoriya. Do you know him?"

"Huh? Oh! Yes, of course, he's a hard worker!" You tried your best to hide your smirk as you two entered the elevator.

"That's good to hear, he always mentions how much work he usually has so I was a bit worried, He has a tendency to overwork himself." You thought back to how sometimes he would arrive at the Cafe and order 2 or even 3 cups of coffee before work.

"He's...very responsible and he has mentioned you, only to me of course, before and he really does care for you by the way he talks about you." Deku was looking at the floor numbers that would slowly rise as he spoke.

"He said that you were very considerate and kind knowing how busy he might get at times. He also sometimes feels bad he can't spend more time with you and-" He stopped himself before he would go too far. "Well you know, he's just really happy to be with you and I can clearly tell." He tried to finish off with a small chuckle.

"Right, it makes me really happy to hear that." You looked down at your wrist seeing his gift proudly shining. "This is our floor." You said as the elevator dinged, opening the doors.

"R-Right!" Deku accidentally stuttered. The room was close by so you knocked on the door and it was just so cute to hear the collective gasps of the children as they saw the number one hero.

"Hey everyone! I'm here!" He said as All Might would say.

"Alright kids, what do you say?" The head nurse of the room asked the children.

"Hello and thank you for coming!" They all shouted

"Alright everyone, who wants to hear Baby Shark!"

"You sure you don't want us to give you a lift?" You asked before heading to Celest's car.

"It's fine, really, thank you for everything!" Deku waved and from the crinkle in his eye, you could tell he was smiling brightly. You waved goodbye as well and ducked into the passenger seat.

"Are you flirting with the number one hero??? Wait till Izuku finds out!" Celest joked as she pulled the car out of the parking lot. You playfully slap her shoulder unable to hide the blush any longer. You were about to respond but you got a message.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." You said as you answered his message.

"Oo!Oo! What did he say???" Celest was all for this double life thing and was getting a kick out of it.

"Looks like he's passing by my place for dinner." You couldn't help but let out a short laugh. "I bet you he's going to get there first."

"So you got out of work early this time?" You asked, seeing him at your front door just as you suspected.

"Yeah, Deku was out most of the day so there wasn't as much as usual." Izuku shrugged.

"Oh yeah! I saw him while I was at the central hospital!" You started unlocking the door and let him inside as you turned on the lights.

"Really? Did you have fun?" He asked, happy to see you cheerful as usual even after a long day.

"Yeah, he was surprisingly shy at some points in the day, especially when he would talk about you." You couldn't help but let a chuckle escape your lips.

"What's with that grin?" He walked over to you and ruffled up your hair. "What did Deku tell you?"

"That you're a big softy."

"I didn't- I mean I'm not!"

"Sureeeee." You paid no mind to his slip up and made your way towards the kitchen, Izuku following right behind you. "Now help me out with dinner!" You commanded dramatically.

"Alright alright." Izuku laughed as he ruffled your hair once again.

"Aw come on I just fixed it." You pouted but continued preparing the food nonetheless.

As you two were finishing up you could have sworn you heard Izuku hum Baby shark.

Some things you just can't hide.
