What I say next may complete baffle you. It may also make me seem completely insane, but i can assure you these events did happen and that I am in fact sane. Now onto the weird part. Ive been having these dreams, now I know that may not make me seem crazy but believe me what happened in these dreams were not normal. They would all start out seemingly normal but then events would shift and id end up in a place that felt all too familiar, but i couldnt place why. There were rows of cabins with numbers on them, and one was glowing a warmth coming from it that chilled me to the bone. I wanted to go towards it but something held me back. I looked around again taking it all in, the air was crisp and the sun had just began to rise so i could make all my surroundings out. A shooting range surrounded by bows and arrows. Nothing looking too out of place. A woods off in the distance filled with pine trees, it felt as if something were watching me from there but I eventually shook that feeling off and continued looking around. There was a large fire pit seeming to have been recently used, and next to it rows of tables looking like it would be enough to hold and feed an army. Finally I looked off near where the sun was rising and saw a beautiful ocean, its water gently moving as the tide rolled in. Now as if this wasn't weird enough, a voice suddenly rang out from every angle. It said to me: "Julia Rivers, age 17. You are needed for a very important mission. The fate of the world is at stake and they need your help. They will be coming soon, take these they will help you on your journey." Above me floated two bracelets/gauntlets one gold and the other silver. I looked up at them surprised and was about to ask what they were when the voice explained,"They will automatically transform when you are in danger. Here i'll show you." Suddenly a hideous creature appeared turned and ran at me. I screamed and then two weapons appeared, a silver sword and a gold bow and arrow. I quickly grabbed the sword and just as the creature jumped at me I stabbed it and it disappeared just as the weapons did and turned back into the bracelets/gauntlets. "Very well." the voice said,"goodbye Julia Rivers until next time, tell no one of this dream." After this I shot up out of bed my breathing and heart rate quickened as I looked around and realized that it was just a dream. I lay my head back down and let out a sigh of relief but then I felt something under my pillow. I leaned back up then both cautiously and slowly started to reach under my pillow. As my finger tips brushed up against something I jumped back startled. I didnt remember placing anything under there, had Sally(mom) placed something under it while I was sleeping? No that cant be, I would have known beforehand. I take a deep breath trying to build up the courage to retrieve whatever was under my pillow. Finally after one last deep breath I plunged my hand under the pillow,grabbed hold of the objects,and pulled out two shiny objects. After closer examination I realized exactly what these shiny objects were. I rubbed my eyes to see if I was hallucinating then I looked back down again and they were still there. The two objects I held in my hand were the bracelets/gauntlets from my dream, turning them around I found my name engraved on them, Julia A. Rivers. I stifled back a gasp then I heard Sally(mom) calling my name for breakfast snapping me out of my trans-like state as I quickly shoved them under my pillow I uttered an awkward "Thanks?..." then headed downstairs. Sally was seated at the dining room table with a plate of bacon,eggs,and pancakes all colored blue my favorite color. But something felt different ,like something bad was about to happen and Sally seemed to feel it too but she was doing her best to hide it with a smile. There was a knock on the door and at that moment I knew things would never be the same again.
