Its hard to wake up from a nightmare if you arent even asleep

Chapter 1 Beginning of the nightmare.

I woke up with yelling and screaming, that all could be heard.

I walk out of the door all I could see mutilated bodies littered on the dirty near the forest floor.

The innocent faces of women and children froze as if nothing was happening around.

In the year 20XX, they made themselves known to the world, proving that we are not alone.

Its been 10 years since we found out about them.

We know them as demons but they call themselves superhumans.

Better and stronger beings living on this planet.

They never stop showing their power.

Now they came for my beloved ones.

I touched my forehead and felt a cold liquid flowing down, it was red in the colour, I don't think it mines. I tried hard to remember the last thing, I remembered it was my partner in crimes blood, my brother. I felt the pain all over again.

And there I was standing in open land, walking straight towards the danger, just waiting to get killed like the rest. I couldnt bear the pain of my loved ones losing their lives over nothing.

Gather all the living females and children, put them into the vans, said a strong authoritative voice. His voice made me shiver in fear and unable to stand on my own.

In the distance, strong footsteps were heard walking towards the direction where females were. I could see tall, well built, muscular men running in several directions to catch them.

Suddenly, I was grabbed from behind. This will hurt you, pumpkin. a voice behind me said. He injected something into my arm.

I moaned in pain. My eyelids, became heavy as minutes went by, till they hardly could remain open anymore.

My body went limp. I had lost control completely.

I knew this wasnt the end but the beginning... beginning of my nightmare, as I was slowly invited into the darkness.
