Myungsoo POV

        I can't believe she is standing right in front of me. She may have lost some weight, but she was still as beautiful as ever. All I want to do is grab her by the wrist, pull her towards me and kiss her.

        Our boss excused himself, because he had to take a call and left us alone to talk with Sunmi.

        "How have you been?" Sunggyu asked.

        "I've been well" she replied. "I heard that your world tour was a success. Congratulations!"

        "Thanks" Sunggyu smiled. "As fun as it was, I think we are all glad to be back home."

        She smiled "Well, I hope you guys can rest a bit now."

        "Are you kidding? We already have an album planned" Woohyun had to blurt out.

        "Really?" she raised her eyebrows. Then she smiled and said "I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us fans."

        Fan? Why does that word suddenly sound so cold? Is that how she really feels? Has she forgotten all the times the guys and I spent with her? Doesn't she at least consider us friends?

Sunmi POV

        I can't believe I was left alone with them. Hopefully this won't be too awkward.

        After having a small chat with them, I decided that it would be best to keep moving. "Well, I really should greet my other guests. I hope you guys enjoy the party" I smiled and bowed to them before walking away.

        I mingled with a few other people and slowly made my way towards the door, hoping to sneak away unnoticed, but that didn't happen.

        Just as I was about to escape, my brother walked in the door. "Noona!" he smiled as he hugged me.

        "Ya! What are you doing here?" I asked. "Aren't you supposed to be in the states studying?"

        "Did you really think I would miss such an important occasion?" he kissed my cheek. "Congratulations, Noona! I'm so proud of you!"

        I was so happy to see my brother that I completely forgot about leaving. I hooked my arm around his and began walking around the room with him.

        "Does Minyoung know that you are back?"

        "No" he replied. "I didn't want to risk her telling you about the surprise."

        "You realize, that she is going to beat you up when she sees you, right?" We both laughed.

        "I know!"

        "Looks like you guys are having fun" a voice said, pulling me away from the happiness I felt having my brother by my side.

        I looked up and saw Myungsoo standing in front of us. "Yes, we are" I commented.

        My brother looked at me and asked "Do you know him Noona?"

        I smiled at him and said "Of course I do. Everyone knows the visual of Infinite; L." I tried to maintain my professionalism, but I was too nervous to be around him. I gave my brother a peck on the cheek and said "I'll be right back."

        "Okay" he smiled back.

        Now I really needed to get out of here. I started to slowly make my way towards the door and ran into Minyoung. "Hi Unnie!" she said as she gave me a hug.

        I hugged her back and said "Kwangsoo is back."

        "Really? Where is he?"

        I pointed in the direction I came from and she hugged me again. "Thanks Unnie!" she said as she ran over to him.

        Now that I was close enough to the door, I took a look around and then slipped out unnoticed. I made my way to the entrance and hopped into a taxi.

Myungsoo POV

        When I saw her with that guy again, I felt defeated. Was she still seeing him? I saw him hug her and she seemed very happy to see him. Then he kissed her cheek and I knew that I had lost my chance.

        When they started to walk towards me, I felt that I needed to say something. Just to clear the air between us. I wanted her to be happy, even if it wasn't with me.

        As they got closer, I gathered my courage and said "Looks like you guys are having fun." Crap! That came out wrong! That isn't what I wanted to say!

        "Yes, we are" she replied simply.

        "Do you know him Noona?" the guy asked. Guess he really is younger than her.

        She smiled at him and said "Of course I do. Everyone knows the visual of Infinite; L." Ouch! That hurt. She gave him a peck on the cheek and said "I'll be right back."

        "Okay" he smiled back as she walked away.

        I took a large sip of the champagne I was holding. "You seem to get along well" I nervously said.

        He chuckled a little "Why wouldn't we?"

        Right, why wouldn't you? You guys are so happy together, like you're the perfect couple. I just wish I hadn't screwed up. Maybe then I would be the one at her side. I downed the rest of my glass of champagne.

        Suddenly, a girl came up and jumped on him. "Oppa!" she happily said as she kissed him on the lips.

        What the hell is going on here? Why is he kissing some other girl when he is dating Sunmi?

        I coughed a little and asked "Who is this?"

        "Ah" he blushed. "This is my fiance, Minyoung" he replied.

        "Fiance? What about Sunmi?" Now I was confused.

        Minyoung chuckled a little "She and Kwangsoo are siblings. Don't worry, I was shocked at first too. They really seem too close to just be siblings at times." She playfully hit his arm and said "You guys were kissing each other again, weren't you?"

        "Guilty" he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "But you know it is only because I treat her like a mother."

        "I know" she smiled and kissed him once more.

        "I don't mean to be rude, but why do you treat your sister like a mother when you alreay have one?"

        Kwangsoo stared at me as though he were trying to read my mind. Then he smiled and said "Our real mother died giving birth to me. Our father was always busy with work because he was still trying to get the company stabilized, so my sister was the one who really raised me. The woman we call our mother is actually our stepmother and she didn't marry our father until after Sunmi graduated from high school." After explaining the situation to me, he watched me to gauge my reaction.

        I didn't know what to say. I felt as though I had asked something I shouldn't have. "I'm sorry, I didn't....."

        "Don't worry about it" he shrugged it off. "You must really like my sister if you got jealous over her kissing me" he chuckled.

        My eyes widened "Huh? What? No... It's not.... I wasn't...."

        He chuckled a little more "You don't have to hide it. Actually, I think she likes you too."

        What? Is he serious? Why would he think that? She's done nothing but ignore me all night. Besides, how could she possibly still like me after the way I treated her?

        He patted me on the shoulder and said "You know, I think I like you."

        "What?" I backed away a little.

        He chuckled and said "Not like that. I think you would make a great boyfriend for her. Just try not to hurt her. She looks strong on the outside, but she really isn't. Most of the guys she dated were jerks that cheated and lied to her, so she put up a wall around her heart. She never lets anyone get too close, but something tells me that you might be able to break down that wall."

        I couldn't say anything.

        "Listen, the only reason I'm telling you this is because I want to see her happy. She deserves it after all she has done for our family." He took a deep breath and spoke more seriously than before "If she lets down her wall with you and you hurt her, I'm afraid that she will never open herself up again. So promise me that you won't make a move on her unless you plan to date her seriously. I can't bear to see her hurt."

        "I promise" I replied even though I knew that I had no right to. I had already hurt her and didn't deserve to be by her side.
