... - so I started teaching him how to say their names today, on Tuesday June 6th 2017 ( - Exactly 18 days after finding him! 😊 ).

We woke up at the same time today, told each other 'Good morning' - and then I got up & carried My Pet to the mirror to let us start the 'naming colors' exercise. I knew that Lovey can change colors from his natural color to any color he wants - & because he can talk - I wanted to try to teach him how some best known colors are called in spoken language... - & I managed! 😉👍

I put him on a chair next to me in front of the mirror & told him 'Just look at us, Lovey! :) ... - We're so much alike: we're Both Purple!  ^_^ '. My New Pet proved that he understood what I was talking about - because he nodded & said 'Creek is Purple... - Lovey Purple too! :D '. 

I answered 'Exactly! :) ... - And we have one more thing in common: My nose is Orange - & your Beak is Orange too! :) '. I first touched my nose then Lovey's beak while saying this - & Lovey repeated 'Orange! :D ' - & listened carefully to what I was going to say next.

I touched my pantleg & asked him 'And what color are My Trousers? :) '... Lovey looked at me carefully - then changed his color into yellow so I praised him saying 'Very Good! :) ... - That's just what I was asking about! - & this color is called 'Yellow' - can you say it?'. Lovey smiled & repeated 'Yellow! 😃 ' - then turned all orange & said 'Orange' & at the end he came back to his natural color & said 'Purple!   ^)^ '.

I praised him again for demonstrating the colors he's just learnt to say - & after that we went for a walk.
