1.

Eliza watched from the backseat as her sister was deep in thought, and noticed her face going red. What could be going on in that head of hers?

Angelica's P.O.V.

We finally reached the Madison household and Lafayette kindly motioned us to come down, action which we complied. His toned hand reached out and hit the doorbell, and soon the tall figure of the man I despise the most appeared, leaning against its frame.

He was wearing his trademark smirk, but but his lips were now stitched with worry and his eyes clouded with eagerness to help his friend.

"Marie!" He greeted our favourite frenchman with his southern accent. "Glad you came, you need to help Jemmy over there, poor thing."

Lafayette rolled his eyes. "Just stop calling me Marie pour l'amour de Dieu! Why didn't you help him anyway?"

Jefferson laughed dryly. "You know how much I suck at that."

Our friend shook his head slightly and looked back at us, as if inviting us to come in. Eliza smiled and nodded, entering the house; nevertheless, I stiffened as I felt Jefferson's chestnut brown eyes fixed on me.

"I'm not great at this love advice thing either Lafayette, I'd better go home." I smiled as sweetly as I could, completely ignoring the other man.

"But chérie, you are great in these types of situations," He tried to reason smoothly, "Les femmes comme toi have a special sense for these things. Besides, how are you going to return 'ome?"

"I'll walk. I need some fresh air." I stated firmly and, without another word, I turned away and left.

My mind was blurring and spinning as I left as quickly as i could. I turned one corner , then another, then another. I walked one street, then another, then another.

Everything was going quicker now.

Street,

Turn,

Run,

My feet were starting to hurt.

Street,

Turn,

Run,

My breathing ragged and my heart thumping wildly inside my chest.

Street,

Turn,

Run,

My eyes were glossy and I felt like I was about to break down.

Street,

Turn,

Run,

I finally collapsed to the floor, just in the middle of the sidewalk, after having turned into a panicking mess.

Nobody had ever seen me like this, I kept my panick attacks to myself and usually hid anything that could classify me as weak.

Street,

I heard faint footsteps towards me and getting nearer by the second.

Turn,

I felt someone's presence behind me and I did my best to fight them away, to push them back, to stand up and run away, but to no avail.

Run,

I tried to stand up and run once again, only to fall back into the stranger's arms sobbing. I had finally given up.

Everything started to slow down. The stranger picked me up bridal style and carried me away, even though I was a patheric sobbing mess right now.

Soon I was placed down on a more comfortable seat; it was soft and extremely smooth.

"Angie? Angelica please, look at me? Don't cry Angie, I'm here."

Their voice seemed extremely familiar and I thought about it as I felt their thumb wipe my tears away.

My heartbeat was returning to normal now and therefore I looked up at them, to then make my heart run wild again.

I opened my mouth to speak but he put his finger over my lips, quietening me instantly.

His midnight black hair tied up in a loose ponytail but with some hair strands falling over his face and covering his intelligent dark brown eyes, his lips twisted into a kind smile that drove me wild.

I felt my cheeks burning as I whispered his name.

"A-Alexander..."

"I'm here Angelica, don't worry. Lafayette told me you left to go back home three hours ago but Peggy hadn't seen you there so John, Hercules, Peggy and I went out to find you." He smiled again kindly.

"O-oh... y-yeah thanks."

"Hey, no problem!" He held my hand.

"Now how about we go back with the guys?"

"That sounds good," I replied softly, letting myself go. "Just... don't tell anyone about this please,"

His chocolate brown eyes glittered with surprise.

"You haven't told anyone about this?"

I shook my head.

"Oh... yeah, I can partly relate... but we're here for you always, don't forget that," He sugested in his flirty but smooth voice.

I felt my heart flutter as he buckled my seat belt and then buckled his own, starting to drive.

Holy f*ck what that man does to me...

We reached Alexander's place in a couple of minutes and both climbed out of the car. I was smiling like an idiot and of course thought it would last. I still had a chance with my crush.

"Hey Angie?" He asked nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yes Alex?"

"May I ask you for love advice?" He asked shyly, very unlike the overgoing, loud Alexander I had once met.

I tried to disguise my thumping heart right now and played it off.

"Ooooh, Hamilton having a crush?" I smiled even though my heart was running wild.

"Yeah and I think you're the perfect one to give me advice."

I smirked. Hopefully it's me, I thought. "So who's the lucky lady?"

He smiled dreamily and stared into space as he sighed dreamily. Man, he was as helpless for her as I was for... him. I gazed into his lovestruck eyes.

"Eliza."

My smile immediately fell and my eyes widened.

Eliza.

My sister.

He was in love with my sister.

A fake smile returned to my lips as I answered him, a crack inevitable in my voice, but he was too enhanced in his own mind to realize.

"Sure! I'll help you!" I smiled cheerfully, masking my tears.

"Listen," I turned him around to face me. "I'm sure she's head over heals for you. I mean, what's not to like about you? Your beautiful eyes, your outgoing personality, your charming smile..." I cut myself off when I realized I was ranting, a crimson blush spread on my cheeks.

"Thanks Angelica," He chuckled.
