The bright light beaming passes the window to Kaemon's face awakening him from his slumber sleep. He feels out for Alysa's warm body beside him, but unfortunately the other side of the bed is cold. He sits up out of bed half awake and realizes the room is set up differently and the walls aren't the same color either. He asks himself" Am I high or what."
He stands up to look outside the window and the view is from an apartment building in a loud bustling city.
The time on the electric clock sitting on the vanilla painted nightstand shows twelve thirty in the afternoon.
" Alysa! Where did you bring me to? I want to know now damn it!" He exclaims standing in the empty apartment.
As he immediately paces to the door its locked.
" I can't unlock this door. Gosh what items can I use. Hm....I know a paper clip can be a possible tool if I can find one to use." he said in the process of searching for the one paper clip.
Unfortunately in the whole room there isn't one single paper clip.
" Really I can't find even a thin wire to try to unlock the door. This situation was not what I had expected Alysabeth to pull. Maybe she's just playing with me for a surprise." he humorously sighs.
The apartments isn't very large with little furniture covering the floor and no food available in the mini fridge. Outside the window is a twenty feet drop to the ground. No ladders close by the window to escape without killing one self. A quiet room sets in minus the traffic noise outside.
" I guess I'll have to wait to see if anybody opens the door." he said.
" knock,knock!"
Kaemon runs to the door and looks through the eye hole and its Alysa. She opens the door with a bright smile on her face holding bags from each hand.
" Um...Alysa did you lock me in the room?"
" Yes, because I didn't want you to find out the surprise I have for you" she replied with excitement.
" Then what's the surprise" he asked in concern.
" I want to give you my pebbles hanging off to the small steel chain." she said handing off the small item to Kaemon's hand.
" What were the pebbles dipped in because they look like a solution touched all of them?" he asked.
" Oh there just nail polish to enhance the stones look."she quickly replied.
"The pebbles don't smell like nail polish Alysa."
" Just let the subject go Kaemon it is a gift and if you don't like it then I will destroy the chain."
" Why do you have to make such a big deal out of a reaction from my mouth. Also what city do you take me to?" He asked.
" Santa Barbra because I want to spend time with you privately Kaemon. Since the horrible experience in the mountains I want a break from all of that. I want to meet my friends and invite you to a celebration."
She touched Kaemon's face pulling him into her body with the other arm. Kaemon's dragged his hand into her waist and pressing his lips into hers. Both hug while smashing their lips into each other's. A moment of close contact follows until their laying on the couch with intimately relaxed gestures.
" Heyo, Alysa? Its Daniel."
Alysa runs to the door and opens it to introduce Daniel to Kaemon.
Both guys shake hands with eye contact.
" Well Alysa lets show Daniel the gang down in the lobby."
" Kaemon lets go" She yanks Kaemon's arm.
In the lobby one guy and two gals sit in the arm chairs staring at Alysa and Kaemon walking towards them.
" Who is this Alysa?"
" Oh Garren, this is my fairly new friend Kaemon."
" Hi Kaemon my name is Cherrie and my sister Lynn."
" Nice to meet you all. So what is the plan?" Kaemon asked.
"We all planned on going to Garren's beach house for a celebration" Alysa answered back to Kaemon.
All jumped into Alysa's and Lynn's car to Garren's place.
Both cars drove up the steep paved driveway facing a three car garage. Everyone casually jumped out to settle into the spacious living room viewing the ocean. In the kitchen a line of wine and vodkas sit on the recycled glass island. Garren grabs one of the bottles and pours the wine into fancy glasses. Alysa and Kaemon sit on the cozy couch talking about their experience to Cherrie and Lynn.
Cherrie's expression of shock on her face once Alysa was saying how both were being torchered by Laken and his crew intentional.
" Oh my Alysa I am so sorry you had to go through that horrible pain both of you went through."
" I know Cherrie it was unbearable and painful. Kaemon has a bit of explaining of what happened to him before I came along to save him." Alysa looks over to Kaemon sitting next to her.
" I don't want to talk about personally in my opinion Alysa to your girl friends."
" Don't force Kaemon to talk about a personal experience Alysa. I would keep it private."
" No, no I want Kaemon to speak his mind and me not be the only one telling the story Lynn. So stop defending him." she humorously said.
" Alysa I can stand up for myself and I do have a right to not mention stuff I want private." He stared back at her.
Garren intrupts the conversation while lying back on his leather chair
" So what's with the intense tones I heard here?"
" Oh Garren it was nothing you need to worry about. Alysa was narrating her experience at the stone house in the Sierra and she escaped with Kaemon." Lynn sighed.
A long pause began until Lynn got up to go to the bathroom down the hall.
" Lets get our bathing suits on and have a party around the pool." Cherrie suggests.
Everyone got into their suits and Kaemon jumped in the pool leading to a big splash.
" Bro that was awesome." Garren yells.
Lynn, Cherrie and Alysa laying on their bellies on the lounge chairs watching the two young men are enjoying the pool.
"I can't believe girl that you got yourself a handsome Hispanic."
" Oh Cherrie please avoid embarrassing me in front of him" Alysa laughed
Cherrie lightly pushes Alysa's shoulder.
" Hey guys" she yells. " flex your muscles to us gals.
" Really Lynn" he responds." I wouldn't want any of you girls to get jealous over me."
" Garren your not making any of us jealous over you. Alysa has Kaemon."
" First off Alysa hasn't proved herself to be my partner yet. Lynn stay out of my growing bond with Alysa." he looked over to Lynn staring into her brown eyes. Alysa runs and cannon balls into the pool beside Kaemon.
" You literally splashed in front of me Alysa." he chuckles.
" Oh you big baby Kaemon she just is having a good time with you while were getting drunk out of our freaken minds." Garren said.
As the night takes over the sun setting Lynn and Cherrie offer poder acid to get high and wasted on and everybody pitched in.
" What happens when acid affects your body?" he asks.
" Kaemon your mind basically makes up stuff in your vision and weird stuff happens. Just wait for a few minutes and you'll know what I'm talking about." Cherrie responded.
Eventually everyone crashes down in different places around the house. Cherries body is leaning on a tree base on the side of Garren's house. Kaemon is on the driveway face down on the concrete. Alysa rests on the leather chair inside. Lastly Lynn isn't near to be found anywhere close by the house.

Afternoon's blazing hot sun lands on the concrete quickly awakening Kaemon from his deep sleep. He stands up with aches and pain all over his body.
" Oh gosh I wish I didn't give in to the acid trip which I barely even remember " He groans.
His unstable legs make it to the living room where Alysa leans with her head on the arm chair with no movement what so ever. He stares at her with the long blond hair covering half her face and closed eyes. The peaceful face in a deep slumber. The white pale skin like the color of a white rose. Cherrie looked like shit leaning on the wall towards the doors with baggy eyes and sun burn on her upper back.
" Hey Cherrie you look amazing!"Kaemon yells at her.
Cherrie opens the door and trips and falls on the carpet looks up at Kaemon.
She answered with a sharp mean tone," How about you Kaemon. Your face looks like a ruby hot pan. Also the messy hair look too."
A pitiful state from Cherrie gave Kaemon a sign right away to move on and check on the others.
Alysa slightly moves her head towards the direction where a conversation was held. She squinted her eyes to see Cherrie lying on the carpet groaning.
" Hey Cherrie" She mumbled.
" Hi...Why did I land on the floor Alysa?" She softly asks.
" I don't know. Where is Kaemon?"
" I just talked to the bastard who said I looked like sh*t."
Alysa whines while pushing herself off the chair.
" Well I'm going to search for him"
Alysa slowly paces outside and around the home until she sees Kaemon on the side of the road a few blocks from the house carrying Lynn in his arms. She sighs and stares directly into Kaemon's eyes for a few minutes until they got closer.
" Why are you carrying Lynn Kae? Did you make out with her last night? I bet you wanna have a kid with her don't you." she sarcastically said.
Kaemon replied sternly, " What the fuck is wrong with you Alysa. I was on the concrete all night. Lynn was on a rock at the near by beach. I went to find her to get her back here safely."

" hmm...I guess I'll believe you since acid does make you do crazy stuff" she laughs.
Kaemon carries Lynn to a queen bed in one of the rooms.
Alysa wraps her arms around his waist and feels his muscular waist and holds him. He pulls her arms away from his waist and turns to walk past her. Silence with no words lasts for a long time until everyone was sitting inside and outside Garren's beach house.
"Why is everyone look like a mess?" she asks
" Why would you ask that dumb question Alysa. You know exactly what we all did last night." Garren responded standing at the doorway to the pool.
" Well I think I'll drop Kaemon off at the apartment and we'll get together again to talk about business with you and the girls." Alysa said quickly.
Kaemon got out of Lynn's bed with a confused look at Alysa.
" What were you talking about with Garren?"
" Oh I just was telling him we'll leave and go back to the apartment to decompress." She grins.
" Ok, since its going on one that's a good idea Alysa"
Alysa and Kaemon went to the apartment and had their private time together. Alysa gets out of bed and slips out.
Kaemon hears her and asks," Where are you going my love?" he nicely asks.
" I need to run out to complete a quick task. Can you wait here to keep anybody from robbing the apartment." she said while closing the door.
" See you later Alysa"
He lands back into the comfortable bed. He is bored so he looks for his necklace and can't find it.
He asks himself" Why did Alysa not get my necklace?"
His body still hasn't fully recovered so aches and pains surge through his body. His groans and verbal cursing makes it worse to be alone with no Alysa by his side touching his face with her bright smile. Time passes by while the sky becomes filled with twinkling stars. Kaemon waits for her to come to bed with him laying by her side.
" Creak"
He jumps out of bed.
" Alysa!"
She closes the door and drops a couple bags on the ground near the small kitchen. He stands behind her back and she feels his presence.
" I know you have lots of questions for me. Let me put this stuff away and I'll be in the room in a few minutes" she quickly said.
Kaemon and her eventually meet in bed kissing and her laying on his chest in a calming gesture.
" I will tell you that I met up with Lynn and we talked for a long time. That's why I was gone for so long."
