It was a bright sunny morning. Birds were chirping and the breeze of the air was refreshing, making you want to engulf in it for long. The flowers bloomed in perfection that it seemed like they're smiling in front of you.

"Haaah..." I sigh to myself as I water the plants in the back garden. I was bored, so I decided to just water the plants.

Today was a quiet day for me. Alexander went to the city to have a board meeting in the company the whole day which Morgan accompanied him. Mark and Lewell went out for groceries a few seconds ago, and I'm sure they'll be back later this afternoon considering how many people living in the mansion that consumes food to perform their assigned daily task. Lady Magnolia's still in school so I'm all to myself. The others? Well, let's just say, they're also busy doing their respective chores.

"Master Lay!" I turned around and saw Mary coming to me while holding a basket. I smiled at her making her blush.

"Oh hello Mary." I greeted her which she returned with a smile.

"Hello sir-"

"Please, just Lay, we used to work together so no need for formality." I stated which made her stare at me in awe. I tilt my head and held a questioned look at her.

"Your so kind Lay. Maybe that's why master Alexander fall for a guy like you." I blush. But immediately covered it with a scoffed.

"So-" I started but was cut off.

"So, seeing your all alone, why don't we pluck the strawberries together?" She asked with a smile. I beamed.

"Now that's something I could do."

"Mmmm, so delicious." Mary moaned in satisfaction as she savor one particular strawberry she picked.

"Yeah, as always." I said with a smile and pluck a strawberry.

"So Lay, how many months to go?" She asked, staring at my stomach.

"Oh, five to be exact." I smiled while caressing my swollen tummy with my hand in circling motion.

"Oh." She said in awe. "I bet he's gonna be one handsome baby." She chuckled.

"Hahahah, thank you."

After a few minutes, there were no more conversations formed from us as we endulge ourselves picking the strawberries and sometimes eating it occasionally.

"That's all!" Mary declared as she padded her hands together and pick her basket of strawberries.

"I'm done too." I stated and pick my basket too. We head inside as we venture our way to the kitchen. Since I'm still pregnant and Alexander forbids me to do anything risky, I won't be doing my job as a butler that I practically beg him for until I gave birth, so someone is practically filling up for my space.

I put my basket down the counter as Mary did also. She looked at me with a smile in her face which made me rise both my eyebrows in question, inclining my head.

"My chores are done, so I can keep you company for awhile." She exclaimed, clasping her hands in excitement. I smiled.

"Okay then. Where to?"

"Okay... slowly now Lay. There." Finally, I manage to sit down on the ground with ease while Mary helps me. I'm pregnant, and sitting directly on the ground is just a huge mistake to do so when you have something you're carrying in your stomach for example a fetus.

"Time sure flies fast." I heard Mary sigh as she sat down on the ground beside me. Well, were here in my favorite spot, under the tree.

"Yeah, can't even believe I'm already pregnant and married." I sigh but smiled as I looked at the sky. "So this is what my mom was feeling when he was pregnant with me. There are so many foreign emotions that you can't distinguish that sometimes I don't know what to feel." I added.

"That's mood swing Lay."

"Mood swa- ah what?" I asked as I looked at her confusion etched on my face.

"Its mood swing gets? I don't really know why it occurs but, its one of the factor of having a baby, like your happy and then a minute you'll get like irritated and likes to bite off heads." She explained which made me nod in understanding.

"Oh. But I haven't bitten Alexanders head before."

"Its not that you have to bite off masters head, its just the way I expressed that your pissed. Gets?" She explained again, looking at me like did you understand every word of a hell I spat?! look to me.

"O...kay..." I agreed even if I didn't understand anything she explained.

"You don't understand. Well! Never mind that! We have more problems we should be concerned off! Like your babys name, are you gonna go back being a butler or not? When are you gonna have a second child and so whatever!" She blabbered which made me chuckle as she finish.

"So?" She asked as she looked at me.

I slowly lay my body down on the grassy plains and used my arm as my pillow as I bring my other hand on top of my belly. I smiled as I take a huge intake of breath. I closed my eyes and listened at my surroundings as the winds blew stronger, feeling some of my hair strand tickles my face as they sway with the wind. I remain like that for a mere second before I open my eyes again and looked at the sky.

"I'll just let tomorrow worry itself. Surely, my mind will get to it." I answered confidently.

After I said those, it felt like the wind blew a little stronger and the leaves and branches begun to rustle loudly making me looked at my right side where the door of the backyard garden is, for anything unusual as I slowly rose up from laying on the ground. I felt like something is not right and the hairs on my neck rose up like a horror film would do to you.

The next line of words that escaped Mary's lips made me looked at her with wide eyes matched with unknown emotions building inside me.

"The Lady of the house is coming back Lay. I know you have issues with her."

I'm so sorry if this chapter is ONE HELL OF A BORING CHAPTER. But at least I finally had an update. Maybe there are only five to six chapters left to be publish and this book will be finish. And book two will be publish soon after.
