Anu felt sad that he was still not talking with her properly. When she looked outside...she was immediately mesmerized by the beauty of nature. A cool breeze hit her face, causing her to shiver. He noticed that and quickly closed their side of window.

Anu: Nandhu...I want to see outside...why did you close the window? (She tried opening the window slide but he held her hand)

Pabsu: No...you will catch cold..

Anu: Am not a Kid...!!

Pabsu: Yes you are !!

Anu came close to him and brushed her lips with him.

Anu (Naughtily): Now say...am a Kid...🙈😂

Pabsu: Behave Anu...everyone is watching us !

Anu: I don't care...why did you call me "Anu"?

Pabsu: Because your name is "Anu"...now stop irritating me and let me get some sleep.

Anu: No...pleaseee....don't sleep..(She pouted)

Pabsu: Okay...and what we will do?

Anu: Umm...we will talk..

Pabsu (In a bored expression): I don't have anything to talk with you.

Anu somehow controlled her tears as she knew that he hated to see tears in her eyes. At the same time, she felt really guilty for using those harsh words on him.

Anu: Nandhu...am SORRY..I really am..😞

Pabsu (Sternly): For what?

Anu: For the morning..I didn't mean those words..it's just I was angry and...

Pabsu (Sarcastically): Don't be sorry, Anu...I kind have got habituated with it. Don't say sorry when you don't mean it.

Anu felt a lump on her throat for hurting him so much. It broke her heart into pieces whenever he addressed her as "Anu" instead of "Kiddo". He really spoiled her with his love, care and affection and what did she give him in return? those horrible words? She looked at him whose eyes are closed now. She didn't realize when tears started flowing profusely from her eyes. His silent treatment started killing her. She quickly bit her lip as she did not want to wake him up and see her crying.

On the other hand, he was just pretending to be asleep. He knew that she was really guilty for her morning behavior and she thought that he was terribly angry at her which he was not. He pretended to act in that way as he wanted her to control her actions and tongue whenever she's angry. What if destiny has some other plan and they get separated for some reason...he saw how miserable and lost she looked the last day without him. She has to be strong when he's not around and he doesn't want her to be dependable on him completely. But he really had a difficult time to act like that as his heart twisted every time to see those beautiful pair of kohled pleading eyes. He even forgot doing the act when he saw her scared eyes while he went to bring the water bottles. He was still lost in his thoughts when he felt a light weight on his left shoulder. He opened his eyes to see her sleeping on his shoulder. His heart ached to see her teary face that caused by him. He put his hand behind her head carefully so that he could take her properly in his arms. He cleaned her face lovingly and kissed her forehead. He smiled at her when she snuggled close to him in her sleep. 

Pabsu (In his mind): Am extremely sorry, Kiddo for acting like a jerk. (He closed his eyes and felt happy that finally he can give his whole time to her the way she wanted)

He caressed her hairs and murmured: Forgive me, Bangaram. I will make it up to you, PROMISE!!❤
