Marissa's P.O.V.

I stood my room watching Miles sitting in the chair next to me in the hospital bed.

He has been here for days. He hasn't eaten or slept. I walked over and looked at him "Baby, I know you can't hear me but I need you to eat. I need you to take care of yourself. I need you to be okay of I don't make it. Madi needs her dad." I said. My eyes started to water as I tried to touch his cheek but couldn't.

I saw Talia come in and give him food. She talked to me and my heart broke when Leo came in and started to break down.

That is when the monitors and the machines started going crazy.

Talia's eyes widened and she yelled out for help.

Doctors and nurses ran in, "She is failing!"

Miles looked at them worried and scared "What the hell does that mean?" The nurse looked at him "That means your wife's organs are starting to fail sir." The blood drained from his face "She isn't breathing!" The nurse yelled.

"We are gonna have to put her on a breathing machine." The doctor said

The nurses quickly run in with a machine and after a few minutes I was connected to another machine. Great.

The doctor looked at Miles, "Sir your wife needs a kidney donor, we can put her on the list for one. Although the issue with that is we don't know how quick it will be to find one into time. If your wife doesn't get one in the next few days, she won't make it." He said and Miles looked completely heartbroken.

Miles looked at him "So you are saying that my wife is gonna die if we don't find a donor quickly?" He asked, his voice was ready to crack at any moment.

Tears left my eyes as I saw him, "Please don't cry baby." I said softly. I looked at myself in the bed, "We have to keep fighting."
